~It had been weeks since that night had occurred. Since she ran off the stage terrified of what she had caused. Since her dad had attempted to hurt her and Jack had come to her rescue. Since she made her way into his room once again. However, within those weeks of absent communication, nothing had really changed. Jack was still clinging to Jen as she made her way around her friends. Ayla had sat with her girlfriends listening to all of their problems, offering moral support when she could, but the two souls had lost their intertwined touch. She didn't want the two most important people in her life currently to get hurt, so in her own notion she backed away. It worked for weeks, but it couldn't last forever. Not when you have a caring and passionate bassist as one of your best friends. As your soulmate.~
Just go talk to him Ayla, you can do this. Just apologize for whatever happened that night and you two can move past this. You got this.
"Hey stranger!" Ayla simply states, tapping Jack's shoulder in the midst of Jen's friends.
"Ayla? Hey! I haven't seen you in a minute, what are you doing here it's like two hours after class?!" he turns around, smiling at her.
"Besides the point, can we talk in private actually?" she sighs, taking his hand.
"Y-yeah sure-" he nods, grabbing his stuff.
"Babe! Don't go yet! We need to discuss that one trip!" Jen smiles, pulling him back to the group.
"It's ok I'll just talk to you later or um something, go plan your trip" Ayla nods, turning and walking the other way.
"No wait Ayla!" he sighs, going after her only to be stopped by none other than Luke.
~The Gray family was a peculiar one at that. The held prestigious morals as I have discussed before, but behind those morals lied tragedy and dark matters. No wasn't an option in their household and anything less than what was excepted was to be used against the children and the parents themselves. Even though flaws of communication, anger, and destruction lied within the house, they were experts on creating a facade ultimately molding their reputation. It was their ritual and they weren't going to stop it anytime soon, especially for their kids goals and dreams. When I say kids, yes I do mean Jennifer and Luke Gray.~
"Where you running off to so quickly bud?" Luke smiles, pushing Jack back slightly.
Jack rolls his eyes, trying to leave "none of your business."
"Mmm kinda is considering you're planning a trip to my family's cabin soon. we need to talk for a little bit, you can talk to the blonde another time." Luke smirks, patting his shoulder while walking down the hall.
"What do you really want from this conversation? validation considering your parents don't give you that" jack nods, crossing his arms.
"You're funny, I like that but no. I want to know what your true intentions are with my sister?" Luke laughs slightly, looking at him.
Seriously right now.
"My intentions are the same as they were two years ago, now can I leave this bullshit?" Jack sighs, walking away.
"Listen very closely ok, I know that I've already talked to you about this entire situation regarding dating my sister, but after I've been informed about your little getaway with the blondie at your concert, I figured I'd step in again." Luke smiles, pushing jack against the wall.
A jackass that doesn't know shit. Not surprised.
"Nothing happened that night! I just took her home!" Jack yelled, pushing him off.
