Beneath the wake of the sun's gentle tones and arrays, lied the ever so delicate golden beauty wrapped up in the arms of the lover she initially called her home. From the gentle kisses scattered across her entire body to the small I love you's and gentle pleads to wake up, she knew exactly what day it was. Although the day was one to remember, considering the sole focus was to be panned on her through the entirety of it all, she truly could care less about the day that reminded her of nothing but losses. However, that didn't make her less grateful of the entities she still held onto and were provided to her. It was only a matter of how she would carry those entities and use them for her better happiness and just as that single thought had taken its spot in her mind, she began to hear the deep and familiar voice she knew all too well whisper the most gentle words against the outer lining of her ear.

"Morning gorgeous" jack simply states through a whisper, kissing her cheek gently.

Through a slight giggle and a smile at his precedented presence, she turned towards him pulling him into a gentle kiss.

"Mmm good morning handsome.." ayla sighs, rubbing her nose against his as he chuckles slightly.

"How's the birthday girl feeling?" he initiates, gently moving her golden locks out of her face.

"Quite tired and shitty if you ask the birthday girl wholeheartedly.." she smiles slightly as he kisses her nose.

"I'm sorry you had so many events planned back to back, I wish your schedule didn't run you to the ground baby" he sighs, kissing her cheek as she giggles.

"Aw look at you, being the adorably cute supportive/overprotective boyfriend! I didn't know you had it in you!" she smirks as he rolls his eyes.

"You underestimate me all the time blondie I don't understand why" he giggles slightly as she nods.

"I'll admit I do, but it's only because you're supposed to be my cute teddy bear not this overprotective badass boyfriend, besides I already have one of those" she smiles.

Instantly putting her thoughts into question, jack began to sit up slightly on the bed to further question her notions.

"I'm sorry what now? What do you mean you have one of those?" he questions, furrowing his eyebrows as she shrugs.

"What?, all I said was that I have a cute teddy bear boyfriend I love and adore" she nods as he shakes his head.

"No no no, that's not what you said! You said.. you know what, I bet you it's that Alex guy from Neptune's isn't it?" he sighs as she giggles.

"I mean he is very nice and actually really hot. You can't help but hop on all of that! I'm so sorry baby I should've told you sooner but things escalated quickly and I didn't know how to tell you, bummer" she shrugs as he looks at her confused.

"How long has this been going on? And when did you ever know Alex before I knew Alex I was the one working at the store? That little fucker probably came to one of the shows and decided to take it upon himself to fuck around with you god" he shakes his head, removing the blankets from him as she gasps.
