Haley finds Lucas walking and decide to join him "hey stranger." She says beside him
"Hmm. No stranger than you." He responds back
"Hmm." She hums
" Did you get my message last night?" He asked
"Nah. I was, uh, at the library late. Midterms. " she told him
"Yours or Nathan's?" He said bitter
"Both, actually." She said
"Well. Good luck with that." Haley cuts in front him so they can stop walking
She sighs "Luke. You're cool with this, right? I mean, last week, when you said you didn't trust me... "
Lucas cut her off " I know. I didn't mean that. Alright? I meant I don't trust Nathan. Beside me and daisy had a talk."
"She's rubbing on you." As it was on cue daisy walks up to both of them.
"Hi, Jamie." She smiles at Haley who says hi back and slowly walks away.
"Hey, Lucas bear. So last week.. sucked. I just... wanted to say thanks." She pulled out the cd.
"Since we're exchanging things." He pulls out a box from his pocket.
"Lucas, we haven't properly—-." He opens the box and it was a necklace. A blue comet necklace pendent.
"It was the time you came back to town and you—." She didn't let him finish and pulled him into a hug and he wraps her arms around him.
"Thank you, Lucas." She pulls away from him and she turns around for him to put the necklace. He pushed her hair to the side and put on the necklace. She fixed her hair and touch the necklace "thank you." She said once again
"Uh-huh. Does it mean we're dating?" The words came out his mouth and she froze. How badly she wanted to say something but no words came out. "I'm kidding." He weirdly laughs and she joins
"You got me there." She punched his shoulders and walks away. She was mentally screaming in her head.
