"Well you're the one with all the answers Doc why don't you tell us." Dan had his legs crossed and he's facing the window.
" Hostility stays outside Dan." The doctor tells Dan not liking his tone.
Deb spoke up "Things have just gotten out of hand, so, we thought we could use some..."she started but Dan cut her off
"No, YOU thought" Dan says And deb cuts him off like he did to her
" ...objectivity" Deb says
"Define 'gotten out of hand'. Nathan." She looks at Nathan seeing as he hasn't said a word since he walked in the room.
"Pass." He says
"We reached the breaking point two weeks ago when my son..." Deb says
"You hear that? 'My son'." Dan says to the Doc
" Deb is speaking now Dan" she looks at Dan then back at Deb
"When our son collapsed on the basketball court after taking drugs to boost his performance." Deb says and Nathan shakes his head rubbing his temple wishing daisy was here with him right now.
"The kid made a mistake he knows that." Dan turns to look at deb who doesn't bother to look at him.
"His father has been bullying him about the sport since he was old enough to hold a ball. Far as I'm concerned his best friend daisy would have to tell Dan off every time he bully's Nathan."
"Is that true Nathan." Nathan doesn't get the chance to say anything when dan decide to speak.
" His mother is so quick to put the blame on me, but up until recently, job always came first." He looks at her emphasis job.
" Yes but I changed my behavior Dan, and you haven't. You cant seem to loose this unhealthy obsession you have with basketball, and how Nathan plays it." Deb spare glance at Dan.
Dan didn't think therapy helping for them and tells deb and Nathan to hustle up after Nathan had confessed he doesn't want to play basketball anymore.
