Chapter 24

                           *Time skip*
(Y/n) pov.
A month has gone by. Itachi is still here, living under my roof. He got a job and helps out more. Kakashi and me are still close to each other, but yet i didn't know how he looked under that masked. Itachi and me became closer. As the day went by, me and Itachi were back home. I was cooking and Itachi was in the bathroom.
I was making ramen for us with a side of fish. As i cleaned the fish i felt someone coming behind me and rapping their hands on my waist and resting their chin on my shoulder. "So when am i going to see your face? And when are you going to tell me about the scars?" Itachi says. I kinda felt weird. I mean i'm the person who wants a cuddly type relationship, but when someone actually hugs me... I'm like 'wtf get off me.' I don't know, but clingy people annoy me.
"Inpatient aren't we?" i reply to his comment. "Oh come one! Kakashi always talks about how he's been able to seen your face!" he says whining, i turn my head and look at him. His beautiful eyes stare at me; kinda like puppy dog eyes. "You know, i'll tell you my story. I won't go into details." I tell him while staring into his eyes. He smiles and says "YES! That's something."

Itachi pov.
She's finally trusting me! I mean even though i won't see her face. I'll be able to know her story. And with that i'll earn more of her trust. I stop hugging her and set up the table for us. A few minutes pass, and the food is ready. We sit down and give our thanks. As we eat (Y/n) breaks the silence saying "I didn't have the perfect loving family. I has abusive family. No one liked me because they thought i would kill them, etc.
Me and my bestfriend planned on escaping. She got caught helping me. So they killed her. I ran always never to come back and lived on my own." Well that was quite a story. "Did your parents ever send anyone to look out for you?" i ask. "No, i'm pretty sure i was gone. Maybe they think i'm dead or maybe they're dead." (Y/n) says laughing. It kinda gave me psycho vibes, but hey i'm not one to talk. "Well you're such a good person and it sucks for them who never got to know you." I say to her wanting her to feel better.
The day ended. We wake up early and follow the same routine; (Y/n) gets ready and cooks and eats, while i get ready she's done eating before i see her and then i eat and we both leave at the same time. We end up going different directions. I see Kakashi and say "I'm finally getting somewhere." "Huh? I'm sorry i don't comprehend. Either way I don't care." Kakashi says while reading his book. "(Y/n) finally told me her story. Well not full details, but yet she opened up. And i hugged her from behind and she didn't push me away." I say with a smile on my face making Kakashi look up to me. I could feel the jealousy. "I bet i'll get to her first." I add on.

Kakashi pov.
Why the hell is he betting on it? Whatever, i'm not going to bet on anything. (Y/n) isn't some game we can bet on. "If you hurt her... I'll hurt you before you see your own brother." I inform him walking away. Yeah i admit, it makes me jealous. She's opening up to him. Something i don't want her to do. Itachi never brings good.
I'm going to ask her out. To dinner, well that was before Guy invited us to dinner and then go to the bar. As we finished dinner we all went to the bar. And that is not a pretty thing. (Y/n) and Guy were competing who would get drunk first. Guy was already tipsy, while (Y/n) was still going. For a fact i'll take her home. I don't want her to do anything stupid on anyone else. "Come on Kakashi drink some more. Then we can all be drunk and do stupid stuff and get in trouble. And also play in the rain." (Y/n) said with a shot of tequila in her hand. "We can't play in the rain. You'll get sick and i won't let Itachi deal with you." i replied to her stupid comment. Guy was taken home by Asuma and the rest left as well. That left me and (Y/n), boy was she saying random stuff. "Your so pretty! I wonder how sexy you look under your mask. You would be a great husband." she tells me while we walk home. I kinda blush. A few minutes of silences and (Y/n) says something out of nowhere that made me worry.
"It would be so peaceful to die. I mean there's nothing for me here. And it hurts. I want to yell so loud that the whole world can hear my pain. Then i want to jump off a building as i smile. But i can't do that to Naruto. As soon as i'm done here... I'll let go." She holds on to my shoulder. I stop her from walking and hug her in the rain. I don't care if i get sick. I want her to know that i care, that i'll mess her! "I love you and i won't let anyone or anything hurt you. I'll kill anyone just to have you! I love you like i've never loved anyone!" i said knowing she won't remember any of this. I have to take her home. I'll take her to my place and let her sleep on my bed. I took her back to my place and gave her clothes to change into.
