The Yule Ball was tomorrow, you were still going with Draco but you just wish all of your friends could get along. You were walking to breakfast with Harry talking about the ball, he did finally find a date but he didn't say who and said it would be a surprise. Whatever that meant. As you walked into the Great Hall people were staring at you. You sat next to Hermoine and she handed you a Daily Prophet, again it showed a picture of your father on the front but it looked like when a polyjuice potion would wear off. The article didn't say what exactly happened but apparently someone dug up your dad and took his hair. So he was dead. And Harry was the only family you had and the little hope you had, was gone. You practically ran out of the great hall, hearing that your dad was dead for the second time made you realize how hard it was for you. People always say Harry has it worse but he doesn't remember exactly how his parents died, he didn't see them die right in front of himself, helpless.
You were in an abandoned classroom crying to yourself when someone walks in, it was dark so you couldn't see who it was right away. "Who's there?" You stand up and pull out your wand, it was Draco. You put your wand down and lean back against wall looking at the ceiling. "Hey are you ok? I've been looki-" he notices that you were crying, "What happened?" You had stopped crying and looked at him, "Even if I told you you would never understand, no one would." "So I can't even comfort you?" You had seen a few sides of Draco but never this one. He was acting like he actually cares, unlike anyone else. You sigh and motion him to sit next to you and you tell him the whole story, about how your parents died, how you had to relive it, being helpless, and the part that you never wanted to happen to anyone, being cruciated. By the time you finished, you were sobbing. You could tell he felt bad for you, the expression on his face said it all by itself. "You've never told anyone the whole story have you?" He asks a few minutes later. "No. If I had I wouldn't be here." He looks at you confused, "What do you mean?" You sigh you had finally stopped crying and could talk normally. "There's a school for young animagus's, like me. I don't know a lot about it, just that I would've gone there instead of here." You both stopped talking and after a while you left and got to class even though you already missed two.
Ok so this part was really short because the next part is probably going to be really long so just be prepared.
