The theatre was full, a sold out performance of Adler. Everyone in the audience was eagerly waiting for the curtain to be pulled and for the tragic love story to begin.

While everything was being finalised, all the actors gathered on stage for a pep talk, the excitement was spreading between everyone, they were all feeling the twists between giddiness and worry. Everyone except for Louis.

"Beyond those curtains there are new students who've never experienced our performances before, eagerly waiting with great expectations but don't worry, do it like you always do it! Our last performance went quite well"

His walk across the stage as he spoke was that of a silent march, the presence and power of a lion with the grace of a spring flower. He couldn't let himself reveal what he was actually thinking, even though he'd love to.

Who am I kidding, it was laughable...

"Despite the incident, the solidarity of this club still remains quite strong!"

Solidarity doesn't mean anything now, I'm here... and thats all that matters.

"This club is very special, on stage we can portray all species, all of us working together as one unit! Right?"

Devote yourselves...to me

"Yes!" All the actors shouted in a thrilling unison

Nobody is getting in my way, this is my battle!

Meanwhile Legoshi was above everyone on his balcony, listening and taking in every word that the deer below said. He felt a great pride but still couldn't shake the feeling that everything that Louis said, sounded like he was telling it to himself.

Since I've gotten closer to Louis I can't help but feel sorry for him, this isn't him, the real him anyway... Legoshi thought back to yesterday, the care that the deer showed him, the emotion in his voice and his body language but there was none of that now.

Legoshi felt that what once appeared to be elevated speeches to increase confidence, were now a stark reminder of how much Louis had to pretend to be something he's not.

"Louis' make-up is almost ready, hows the lights?" Came through the headset, Legoshi smiled knowing the play was about to begin "Uh spotlight one is good to go" It was a bittersweet feeling, he was excited for everyone's hard work to finally come to fruition but, couldn't believe Matthew wasn't here to do it with him.

Not long after, Louis came running out and stage with leaps and bounds into the spot light before taking his heroic landing. Unheard to everyone was a crack as Louis' knee went down, he felt the pain shoot through him but ignored it as he brandished his sword high into the air at the audience.

I can't give up now, this is what I live for!

Legoshi followed his elegant movements as if they were one, a silent dance between a deer and a wolf. Only the two of them could feel the connection between them, Louis providing the performance while Legoshi did everything he could to make sure the whole world could see every turn, thrust and strike the deer made.

Louis' performance is fierce, his body is shaking as he breathes, the audience is captivated by this...grim reaper hero" Legoshi was stunned and entranced, he didn't know what was happening to him, every fake fight he had seen countless times now gave him the urge to run and jump in, in Louis' defense. Every loving look he and Ellen shared caused him to be ripe with jealousy.
