Claws, Teeth, Paws and Meat

Chapter 1

Legoshi looked at his phone after crawling into bed to see that its half nine, outside is a calm and clear Friday night. Soon the other canine in the room will be ready for bed and he'll be able to get some sleep when the light is turned off. A sudden knock on the dorm room door makes Legoshi jump with a little yelp. Rex sake it's probably just the dorm mother making sure everyone who's still here is in their rooms before bed. Jack came out of the bathroom and opened the door, a small gasp of surprise came from the labrador before he heard him ask "P-principal Gon? Is there something wrong?" Why would principal Gon be checking in on us at night? Especially when most students are at home for the weekend. Legoshi pulled back his privacy curtain and stepped out of bed in nothing but his pyjama bottoms and walked up behind Jack. The principal stood casually in his black suit fronting his usual calm and confident demeanour, smiling with his shoulders relaxed as if this was a regular thing to do. He always had a comforting aura since his species and position of authority often makes even the roudiest of carnivores meek in his presence but there is something off tonight.
I can smell his worry... he's not panicked or afraid but there's definitely something not right "I-is everything okay?" Gon took a breath and a slight sigh of what looked to be releif "Ah Legoshi! The wolf I need, I'll need you to put on some clothes quickly and follow me" this made his tail stick up his back and his body tense, before the wolf could start to spiral thinking about why Gon would need him at this time the principal calmed him down "Dont worry Legoshi you're not in any trouble, I just need you to help me with bringing a student to his new dorm, this dorm actually...you'll understand why I need you specifically, when we get down to the main entrance" While that does calm the wolf it doesn't help with his confusion "O-okay...I'll get dressed right away sir" the tiger smiled before closing the door saying "I'll just be out here waiting for you"

Legoshi turned to Jack who's face was telling him he's just as confused as he was before barking out happily, tail wagging frantically following Legoshi to where keeps his clothes "Oh wow! A new friend! He's gonna be a canine! I wonder if he's a grey wolf like you Legoshi! Maybe thats why Gon needs you!"
Legsoshi stopped fishing for his clothes and tapped his chin "I don't think id be that lucky but...didn't principal Gon look a bit worried? If it was just helping getting a student to his room I don't see why he'd be nervous... u-unless you think there's something bad or dangerous about him?" Legoshi was quickly putting on his gym clothes worrying what it could be "Hey! Legoshi I know you like to think the worst but come on. If it was something that serious he wouldn't be casual like that! What makes more sense? The new guy is nervous and a wolf so Gon wants you to make him feel a bit more comfortable or he's a rabid beast thats gonna need to be contained?" Jack assured him while helping the panicked wolf with his T-shirt, his fluffy head finally making it trough the neck of the t-shirt, his ears pulled back and let out a small whine of embarrassment "W-well when you put it like that..." "You always get so flustered when you're like this" Jack laughed. Legoshi gave him a small smile and a quick hug "You always know how to bring me back down to Earth" he deeply chuckled  before starting to head out to principal Gon "Hey I'll get his bunk ready, Im guessing the one above yours will be fine and I'll clear a spot for his stuff ahhh Im so excited!" He looked back at Jack who's tail was wagging excitedly "Y-yeah that's fine, you're so helpful Jack" Legoshi's own tail was wagging at the sight of the happy dog and gave him a wave before closing the door behind him and turning, noticing that Gon was tapping his foot but not out of impatience "Lets get going so!" The tiger started walking down the hall towards the doors of the Canine wing into the main school building quite quickly. Why would he need me to help with a student getting to their room? Would an introduction in the room not be a lot less awkward? They walked quickly through the school and mainly in silence until they reached the entrance doors "Now Legoshi I'm aware this is a bit of an unusual arrival but the student is asleep... apparently he was so nervous about attending here his parents had to give him his sleeping pill early to prevent him from having panic attack, he's a grey wolf like yourself so I'd have difficulty brining him on my own and if he was to wake up and see someone of his own species rather than a tiger alone I have a feeling he won't react as harshly" Oh so it is another wolf! Oh but wait, if he's already this nervous whats he going to be like when everyone treats him the way they treat me? Before getting the chance to question the unusual situation the outside air hit him as Gon opened the doors to two older wolves, a tall white wolf with bristling thick fur and piercing blue eyes in denim jeans, sporting a red t-shirt and a slightly shorter black wolf in bright white running tights and a pink sports hoodie holding a sleeping black wolf dressed in all black, black skinny jeans with his leather jacket opened showing a black hoodie under the shoulders, his black runners dragging along the ground with his head bowed. A black wolf!? I never thought I'd see a wolf with a black coat! its so rare and now I'm seeing two of them! Although I didnt think he'd be that much into the black aesthetic. His tail started to wag excitedly before he realised that nobody was looking happy, his head tilted in further confusion. Why are his parents carrying him like he's some prisoner? Maybe that was the easiest way getting him out of the car? but even still that can't be comfortable! "Sorry to be so late but we kind of expected this and didn't want to embarrass him infront of the other students, I hope we can trust this young wolf here to respect that" his mother spoke apologetically before looking at Legoshi "Thats quite understandable Mrs. Shan and yes of course you can! I asked Legoshi specifically because of his understanding and kind nature" Legoshi's ears flicked happily with blood coming to his face at the praise he just received "I-I will don't worry the only other person in our room is Jack and like me h-he won't tell anyone" both wolves smiled at Legoshi "Thank you so much, now could one of you hold him steady while we get his things from the car?" The male wolf was looking between them both seeing who would take his offer "I-I'll take him, principal Gon m-maybe you should help them with his belongings?" The tall white wolf takes his arm from under the unconscious wolds shoulder and guided him towards Legoshi. This will be awkward but it'll be a lot easier to carry him rather than drag him. Legoshi carefully puts one arm behind the wolfs back then his other under his legs and hoists him into the air carrying him bridal style noticing a secondary colour on his coat. Oh under his chin is white! That's so cute!... wait cute? The three adults ignored the act as they each got a bag from the car but strangely the two wolves gave the bags to the principal "While we'd love to help him get into his new room and have a chat with you both we have to quickly get back home as our daughter is at home alone" the mother said getting into the car, the father walking up to the driver side saying "You know what young pups can be like when they have the chance!" The two started to chuckle but Legoshi couldn't help feel put off by all of this. Why are these two acting like this is completely fine and casual? They don't want to see their son's room or make sure that everything goes alright with getting him there? "I have no kids of my own but with knowing students over the years yes I can only imagine what she'd be getting up to!" He laughed while they were pulljng off without saying anything else.
