Levin's POV

Shopping

A word that brings different reactions to a guy's face. In Kayleigh's case, it's discomfort. Total discomfort.

Vaughn and I planned to hang out until his so-called girlfriend decided to join and drag us with her like puppies. That bitch.

So instead of being the third wheel, I decided to put Kayleigh in my role by simply talking to Vaughn, Ignoring her, and finally showing her that I have more style.

"I still don't get why you let her join us when we planned that we'd hang out"

I whined like a five-year-old to Vaughn, my best friend since 18. He shrugged, his eyes locked on the changing room his girlfriend is occupying.

"WHAT HAPPENED TO GUYS BEFORE GALS!?"

Vaughn offered me a are you serious look before averting his attention to Kayleigh who just went out of the changing room.

"What do you think?"

She asked twirling allowing us to see the dress.

"The dress is very pretty" unlike you

I commented forcing myself to smile.

"I know right it fits me perfectly"

She agreed happily. I hope Vaughn doesn't tell her that the dress doesn't match her skin tone.

"Someone said that red is my color"

She said assessing herself in the mirror

"then maybe you should change into a red dress"

I commented, eyeing the maroon dress she was currently wearing. How is that red?

"This is red"

"No. It's maroon"

"red"

"maroon"

"red"

"you're co-"

"Enough"

Vaughn stopped our bickering. He sighed before smiling at his girlfriend and telling her to choose another dress. He glared at me when she left. We stared for a while before I apologized.

"I'm sorry she's color blind"

Vaughn widened his eyes at my apology.

"Levin, I can assure you that Kayleigh is not color blind"

"Vaughn we both know that red and maroon are very different colors"

I explained carefully. Our conversation was cut off when Kayleigh exited the changing room. She took Vaughn's hand pulling him with her outside the shop. She looked back glaring at me before looking at Vaughn with a "loving" smile.

Maybe that's why they're a couple. Both of them are blind. Kayleigh, that bitch, is color blind. And my best friend, Vaughn who is hopelessly in love is blind.

Love is blind

My Vaughn is blind

He needs new glasses.
