That's what I felt. Shopping alone at 9:28 am on a cold January day was one of the best choices I made this week.

Now, what should I pick a hoodie or a cute stuffed toy?

Taking a deep breath might help me choose.

A female voice boomed. I popped my head out to locate the noise that disturbed me from my peaceful thinking.

"I know"

A brunette with blonde ends spoke proudly. And at this moment my brain stopped and focused on one thing

What a very confident woman. Too bad her color scheme is messed up, unlike the stuffed toy.

I stared at her like a creep. Okay, first of all, her top is clashing with her skirt. She looked like a girl who rushed out of the house because she's late. Her makeup is very... different?

I am not a person who judges too quickly but seeing this woman brag about her boyfriend made me angry.

Welp, I'm taking this hoodie. I stared at her before she snapped at me

"What are you looking at?"

She rolled her eyes before saying loudly and clearly

"Let's go. This shop has a dumb creeper"

Her friends looked at me before nodding and sashaying away. I stuck out my tongue when they left. I know I'm very mature

I continued to eye the various colors of hoodies hanging.

I took the blue hoodie from the rack and inspected it while walking.

At least it's cute unlike the girl a while ago who was - oop

I rubbed my head before looking up.

"Are you okay?"

A guy with black hair and green eyes - wait he looks familiar. I squinted my eyes at the familiar figure

"YOU'RE VAUGHN!!!"

I said excitedly pointing at him with a smile on my face

"And you are Levin"

He remembered. He remembers me

"YOU REMEMBER ME!!!"

"shhh"

The shopkeeper and Vaughn shushed. I smiled and looked to my right seeing a cute green and brown-colored duck. I stared at it - I want one... but I don't have money.

The guy in front of me offered his hand I took it and

"Nice to meet you, wanna be friends?"

I said making him look at me weirdly before pulling me up. I stood up and dusted my pants while Vaughn scanned the shop. He sighed before shaking his head and looking at his phone.

"Ummm... Levin?"

"Yeah"

I asked curiously

"Aren't you gonna pay or continue buying?"

He said eyeing at the blue hoodie in my hand. I nodded heading towards the counter. He followed behind me and watched as I placed the hoodie on the surface. My eyes focused on the cute duck that was displayed. I paid, waved goodbye at Vaughn, and left the shop.

I was looking at my phone when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Vaughn.

"You've been staring at it for 2 minutes straight"

He explained before handing me a plastic bag. I looked at him questionably

"Just take it... consider it as an apology and the start of our friendship"

He smiled at me before saying that he needs to go and waving goodbye.

That line replayed in my head making me smile. He wants to be friends with...ME.

I laid in bed exhausted. I rolled over laying on my side, my eyes seeing the white plastic bag Vaughn gave me. Sitting up I reached for it screaming when I saw what was inside.

"IT'S THE FREAKING DUCK!!!"

I hugged the duck tightly before lying down on my bed.
