Vaughn's POV

"Yes," she answered her voice unwavering. I stared at the ground below me my brows furrowing together, my hands clenching involuntarily.

She's leaving me

Why? Did I do something wrong?

Knowing that I failed and disappointed someone makes me uneasy.  I always tried to excel in everything I do, making sure that I avoid making mistakes. Mistakes, that will flaw my image and push away people.

I heard my name escape Kayleigh's mouth making me look at her again. "We both know that I don't make you that happy... Look let's face it we are not made to be in this kind of relationship... There's someone who makes you laugh more" She said smiling at me and turning around to leave me.

 I didn't make her happy.

I bowed my head down, the feeling of sadness starting to spread making my eyes tear up. I felt someone's presence behind me.

"Vaughn..." I heard his voice.

I can't look at him

I'm a disappointment

I quickly turned to face Levin. I didn't want to look into his eyes so I rested my forehead on his shoulder and without wasting a second he wrapped his hands around me offering me the comfort that I never felt before - not even from my mum - I inhaled sharply trying to suppress the tears that are trying to escape my eyes.

"Vaughn, let's go home okay?" Levin said slowly while rubbing my back I tried to nod but I couldn't since my head is resting on his shoulder. We stayed in the embrace a little longer allowing me to gather my courage to look up and leave. Finally, I looked up my gaze still avoiding his face. Slowly he lifted my head making me look directly into his blueish-green eyes. I tried to conceal my emotions but it was clear that Levin saw right through me making me want to burst into tears and express every emotion I'm feeling.

He offered me a smile that immediately eased my discomfort. I smiled back making him grin in victory.

Levin...

"There's someone who makes you laugh more"

"Levin I-" He placed a finger on my lips stopping me from continuing my sentence. I looked at him questionably, he only smiled and shook his head no - telling me to keep quiet and tell him when I am ready. I smiled gratefully and nodded.

Levin...

Please stay with me...
