Sleepless

Jimin walked to the kitchen sleepily to get a cup of water. He woke up really thirsty and needed a drink asap.

He turned the light on and got his cup of water before walking into the living room.

He jumped in surprise when he saw a figure sitting on the couch.

"What are you doing up?" He asked and the figure turned around. It was Taehyung.

"Can't sleep." He said with his voice hoarse.

During the day Taehyung hadn't been in little space because they had to do grown up things that day with bighit.

Jimin nodded and sat beside him. "How long have you been up?" He asked and taehyung thought for a moment.

"Um almost three days." He said and jimin gasped.

"Three days?!" He asked in disbelief and taehyung nodded.

"I tried to sleep but I just can't." He whined and jimin pat his back.

"Do you wanna come sleep with me and jungkookie?" He asked and taehyung nodded.

"Sure, maybe that will help." He said and jimin held his hand all the way to their room.

Taehyung laid in the middle of Jungkook and Jimin and felt arms wrap around his waist from behind and turned to see Jungkook drooling all over his pillow.

He giggled quietly, not wanting to wake Jimin when he heard his slow breathing.

*timeskip to 6:40 am*

Taehyung looked around the room with bloodshot eyes. He didn't even get a second of sleep last night.

He tried cuddling his boyfriends close but that didn't work. He tried flipping the pillow to the cold side but that didn't do the trick either.

So he decided to get out of bed slowly and looked around the room.

It was almost seven so he was guessing everyone's alarms would go off soon.

He saw his little bucket of toys and paci's and giggled.

"Hi tata. Taetae missed you." He cooed at his stuffy and cuddled into him.

He sat by his bucket and dumped his train track set out. "Vrooooom!" He let out and turned occasionally to check if he was disturbing his daddies.

He had already slipped while playing with his stuffies and train track.

Jungkook grumbled while reaching for Taehyung but he was met with an empty bed, besides Jimin.

When he didn't feel his baby, he sat up and looked around the room.

"Tae?" He asked and taehyung grinned.

"Goo' morning dada!" He said and Jungkook cooed.

"Good morning bubba. While you were sleeping, oppa woke me up and told me you hadn't been able to sleep. Did you get any sleep last night?" He asked and taehyung shook his head.

"No. I twied but no." He mumbled sadly and jungkook opened his arms for him to run into.

"Well let's eat some breakfast and our number one task today is to get you to get at least an hour of sleep!" He said and tickled his sides which caused a bunch of giggles to erupt from Taehyung.

Jimin had woken up and rubbed his eyes. "Good morning oppa!" Taehyung said and he looked over at him.

"Good morning taehyungie." He said back and Taehyung whined.

"What's up baby?" Jimin asked and he pointed to his stomach.

"Hungwy." He said and jimin and Jungkook nodded. Jungkook picked the whiny baby up and took him downstairs.

"Do you want pancakes?"

"No."

"Waffles?"

"Nuh-uh."

"Um fruits?"

"Nooooooo!"

Jimin frowned, skimming through the pantry again. "I'm not sure what you want bubba. Is there something else I haven't said yet?" He asked and taehyung thought for a second.

"WAFFLES!" He screamed and jimin sighed, knowing he had already asked if he wanted that. This was gonna be a long day.

"Alright bubs, go join daddy in the living room." He said with a sweet smile and taehyung nodded.

"Kk oppa." He said and ran into the living room.

"Hiya dada." He mumbled and sucked on his thumb. Jungkook looked over and smiled, pulling the little in his lap.

"Hey baby cakes, whatcha doing?" He asked and Taehyung shrugged.

"Don't know, jiminie told taetae to come in hewe wiff kookie." He said softly and the younger cooed on the inside.

"Is he making breakfast?" He asked and taehyung nodded.

"Yup." He said and Jungkook nodded.

"Taetae your waffles are ready!" Jimin screamed and taehyung grumbled, jumping off jungkooks lap and into the kitchen.

He went in there and sat in a seat by the table. Jimin smiled at his messy hair and set his plate of waffles in front of him.

"There you go munchkin, enjoy." He said and taehyung smiled.

"Tanks oppa." He said kindly and ate his waffle.

Taehyung and his caregivers were sitting on the couch watching tv. It was one in the afternoon and taehyung hadn't slept yet. He felt so icky, and he just wanted to sleep, he doesn't know why it's so hard for him.

He whined and climbed on jimin's lap, wrapping his arms around his neck. "Oppa." He whined and jimin hummed.

"Taetae tirwed." He said and jimin immediately stood up, letting taehyung rest on his side.

Jimin looked at Jungkook and mouthed 'paci' and he nodded. Jimin rocked taehyung side to side while mumbling a nursery song.

He knew pacifiers helped him sleep, he just hadn't been able to use them because taehyung had been out of little space for a couple days.

Jungkook grabbed his pacifier and ran downstairs to give it to him as soon as possible.

Jimin mumbled a thank you and Jungkook went back to watching tv.

Jimin continued his swaying and humming until his felt taehyungs arms slowly loosen.

When his breath was just slow breaths and huffs of air, he took him up to his room.

On the way up, Jungkook pecked Taehyung's forehead and jimin smiled and continued to walk up there.

He gently set him down and sighed in relief when he didn't wake him up.

He piled him in blankets and watched in adoration as taehyung quietly suckled on his pacifier.

"Love you baby." He whispered and cooed at the younger.

He gave him a tiny peck and turned his bedroom lights off. He went back downstairs to cuddle with Jungkook and waited until he heard Taehyung in the baby monitor.
