Bang!

A unexpected crash echoed through the airport, click clack the sound came rushing in. Where was it?
Everyone jolted up from their sleep, their eyes darted from one room to the other seeing nothing in particular. Jeongyeon had already grabbed her gun and nodded to the other girls. Momo, Sana, Jihyo and Mina slowly reached for their weapons, Chaeyoung had her hand on her knife handle as for Yeji, she held her bat.

It all went quiet, the last known location they heard was from the other end of the airport. Those with guns spread a part around the group still maintaining a safe distance. The others who were unarmed gathered together, except for Dahyun. She had already hid under a table near to the group, they hadn't noticed she was gone, but she didn't want to see what was out there. The fear of not knowing who you are against, the fear of getting hurt or hurting someone because it was your responsibility.

Then, a knock. A click, then another knock. They all turned around seeing a figure—no—a bunch of shadows (at least 9) with luring hands.
"It's them..." Jihyo whispered as they took a few steps forward casually as they were walking.
Nayeon rushed over with her ammo bag ready for support. Their hands trembled in fear, but no use now, the shadows lunged forward.
"Now!" Momo shouted and everyone obeyed.
A spree of bullets punctured each of them, killing one and another, but that didn't stop them, more kept coming.

"Aim at their hearts or heads." Chaeryeong shouted.
Yet it was too late, a swarm tackled each gunner down pinning them to the floor and wall. Their guns slid away from their reach.
Nayeon ran back towards the group and followed Chaeyoung.
"Dammit!" Chaeyoung screamed and slashed the oncoming infected.
Tzuyu ran towards Mina, kicking the head of the infected off saving her friend from doom, they were soon backed away into a corner.

Yeji and the others were surrounded with only one weapon, Yeji swatted the bat from side-to-side. Only to have one get by and grabbing Chaeryeong by the shoulder.
"Get away from her!" Ryujin shouted and kicked their shin as Yeji followed up with a swing to the head.
In a fit of rage, Ryujin clenched her fist and released her anger onto the infected. Yeji smiled and followed her movements for a follow-up attack still keeping the others safe.

Nayeon chased after Chaeyoung, both back-to-back as they had no way out.
"Have you ever held a knife?" Chaeyoung panted.
"No, not really." Nayeon said.
"Then, just improvise." Chaeyoung lunged at one and then to another. Nayeon did as she did, swiping the knife as they backed away.
"Jeongyeon and the others need help!" Nayeon shouted.
"There's just too many!"

The gunners were still pinned, struggling hard to get out of their grip as a black sludge drilled out of their mouths. Jihyo shoved them off her and crawled towards her gun, she reached out and safely held it. Then, bang!
No head to be seen. Jihyo took a deep breath and helped the others, killing the infected. They rushed to get their guns. They assessed their area seeing that Ryujin and Yeji held their ground with a few infected down as Yeji smashed their heads to a pulp. With that Yuna, Lia and Chaeryeong came rushing in with pots and pans yelling at the top of their lungs.
In the corner, Mina held a chair swinging it and growling at them as she protected Tzuyu behind her.
As for Chaeyoung and Nayeon, a few more infected came.
"Mina and Tzuyu need help!" Sana pointed and ran with Momo behind her.
"Chaeyoung and Nayeon need ours." Jeongyeon grabbed Jihyo's shoulder with an assured look, Jihyo nodded.

Finally, Dahyun; she had her eyes closed and ears shut, singing herself a melody in her head. Then, something urged her to open them and her eyes fixated onto the gun that laid upon her feet.
She remembered those words from Chaeyoung, "a gun holds too much responsibility." To Dahyun even courage was too much and knowing that something was here to kill her, she didn't dare to challenge it, but it was life or death.
