It was a long walk, a whole heap of silence was only present, with still a few miles until Busan it was getting a bit tiring. The five girls at the back whispered quietly without grabbing their attention, they hadn't experienced such tension.
"Should we do something?" Yuna asked as she lowered her head.
"I don't know, but I'm more worried with Dahyun gripping that knife." Chaeryeong said.
In fact she had not cleaned it, the blood was still dripping from the blade.

"Should we make a scene?" Ryujin smiled.
"Why would making a scene be better?" Lia questioned with disbelief in her tone.
"I mean we're always the ones who lightens up the mood." Yeji nodded.
"And what's your plan then?" Lia sighed.
"Divert the attention." Yeji cleared her throat before she took lead.

"Say... uh—Jeongyeon, that journal you had. You said it was your fathers." She began, "What did he do?"
Jeongyeon pulled the book from her jacket and chuckled, "He was an investigator scientist and used to be a teacher scientist. I gave this to him so he could write his works or write anything down really."
The group started to turn their heads.
"Wow, your father was a scientist." Lia said, "Have you read any of it?"
Jeongyeon shook her head.
"You could do it now." Tzuyu joined in.
Jeongyeon nodded slowly, "Y-Yeah and maybe I would... find him."

Immediately, she was met with a warm embrace. There, Sana rushed to her side and hugged her. Everyone smiled and as they glanced at each other, they each joined in after Dahyun had safely tucked her knife away in Nayeon's bag.

"Are you ready to read it?" Nayeon gave her an assuring smile.
"Yeah, do you perhaps there would be something about the incident?" Jeongyeon questioned.
"Probably, but we won't know until you find out." Jihyo said.
"You are going to read one entry out loud, right?" Ryujin whispered as her friends pulled her back.
"I will." Jeongyeon opened the first page, a date and a time as she noticed it was a day after her birthday. She remembered that her father disappeared, not even saying a goodbye or explaining his actions.

Was it wrong to leave them? I didn't want them to know how important this research is, The Good Land, and to say that I need to leave them... I couldn't face them. Would be they angry? Their mother would take care of them, they don't need me, but I want to express my concern for them.

Seungyeon, a natural born leader. She's definitely a good sister and one day I believe that she will be successful with a happy family. Such a sweet and intelligent girl.

Jeongyeon, though she is hot headed, she is still persistent. She's always thoughtful and cared about others even if they weren't on her good side. Writing in her gift would be the intended way to do this. Though it's a journal as she says, it perceive it as a both it and a diary.

My first entry, but there's work needed to be done. I must carry on.

After that, her father's ideas scribbled around the page with no logical order in their view.
"So he did just leave you." Chaeyoung sighed.
"Was it because of the Good Land?" Yuna asked.
Jeongyeon just shrugged, "I suppose so."
"We've got a few miles ahead, do we want to rest?" Chaeryeong asked politely.
They all shook their heads.

"We're almost there, we can push through." Jihyo held her head high as the others followed.
"We'll look out whilst you're busy." Mina smiled as Jeongyeon chuckled, her hand firmly gripped onto the journal.

She kept flipping the pages seeing more scribbles and doodles. Only a few entries of his research into The Good Land and how it was operated learning that it was a safety bunker for any emergencies that would occur only fitting for those who are 'worthy'. It kept on going on until it stopped. Staring at the date, realising it was a few days after the incident. January the 5th 2020...

That idiot, Song Insu. All he wanted was to be a creator to destroy humanity and preserving those who were chosen. What foolishness, thinks he could play god.
No impure mortal has any deserved power to choose who lives and dies.
He was the cause of the downfall, he caused the whole country... no... the whole world to become miserable.
That failed explosion made everything go out just like a click of a finger. Mr Im and I tried to stop it, but it was already too late. Too much power was centred on his planned explosion to kill off everyone except... those chosen for The Good Land.

They were pre-chosen by Insu himself, gathering them in one sanctuary away from the danger and the blast.
But as his plan to kill humanity failed, it was not until a few days that everyone started to go insane.

Scientist Im and I left the The Good Land wanted to help to restore what we have lost. Not only that, to start on a new project that would make people immune to all diseases.
It's called, Project S.
