17) Arrived At Busan

"Jeongyeon. Jeongyeon?" She felt a light tap on her shoulder, lowering down the journal, she saw a vast amount of the blue sea water.
"We're here."
"How are we here already?" Jeongyeon sighed in awe.
"Your nose has been caught up with your father's journal that's all." Nayeon smiled.
Jeongyeon lightly chuckled, "I guess I've been too immersed." She couldn't get the new finding she had learnt, Project S was all in her mind.

The group carefully walked down the hill towards the clear sea.
"Wow! We're here!" Chaeryeong screamed
"You get to see you're sister again." Dahyun smiled.
"Yeah." She nodded silently.
Yuna rushed towards the edge of the cliff, she reached her hand towards the water as she clinched onto the railing.
"Careful." Tzuyu held her shoulder.
"It's the sea!" Yuna cheered.
"You should drink it." Ryujin laughed.

"Hey! I'm not stupid, I know it's salt water. What do you take me for?" Yuna scoffed.
"A person who's been trapped for five years underground."
Yuna rolled her eyes.
They kept following the street until they found a big clearing with ship containers surrounding the bay.
"That's it! We're here." Chaeryeong rushed.
"Wait slow down!" Yeji called.

Something was off, it was too quiet.
They reached the entrance of the port, but Chaeryeong had stopped running, she backed away slowly just where her friends had accompanied her.
There, they noticed a few strangers with black masks pointing a gun at them.
"Are you sure this is the place your sister is?" Lia asked in concern.
"She said Busan port so..."
They quietened their voice as they shouted, "Who sent you here?"

None of them spoke, they were tired and frankly couldn't be bothered to be pushed around.
"Speak now!" They growled.
The girls rolled their eyes as Jihyo stepped forward, setting her gun down. Everyone else followed her and placed their weapons down.
"Do you really think we're a threat to you?" She huffed, "We came all this way to find a way out! And I assure you we're not those Outsiders if you were thinking that. We can hardly handle a weapon!"
"Speak for yourself." Sana whispered as Jihyo glared at her.

"So what's it gonna be?! Are you going to shoot us!" Her voice boomed almost echoing through the port.
"I don't think we should aggravate them." Yeji said.
The guards weren't expecting such anger especially to someone who's being threatened.
In the heap of the moment, a few people had to come see the commotion, Jihyo kept on ranting, venting and pacing back and forth.

"Wow, I didn't know she had kept this all in." Chaeyoung said.
"Oh we all kept it in, she's the one who snapped." Nayeon chuckled.
It took about a minute before Jihyo needed to take a few seconds to breath, just then someone had ran towards them.
"Chaeryeong!" She shouted.
"Chaeyeon?" Chaeryeong looked closely as she saw her her sister running with a warm embrace.

Such reunion even brought more people around, the guards had put their guns down.
"You made it!" Chaeyeon muffled voice was barely audible.
"I followed what you said, to head to Busan." Chaeryeong smiled.
Her sister poked her heads around seeing the group of girls recklessly a mess.
"Who are these people?" Chaeyeon asked.
"They're the one who saved me and took care of me."
"Thank you all. I really appreciate it." Chaeyeon had the biggest smile on her face.

The crowd started to get form and even one familiar face, in fact he was the one who saved Dahyun. He emerged from the audience just for them to recognise his friendly face.
"Jaebeom?" Chaeyoung gasped.
"You all are still alive? Not that I thought you were dead, but I didn't think I would see you here." He cheerfully said.
"You guys know each other?" Ryujin asked.
"Yeah, guys meet Jaebeom or JB. He mended my injuries and helped us. Even though he was a part of the Outsiders." Dahyun replied.
"Speaking of the Outsiders, what happened?" Jeongyeon asked.

"He left as he should and traveled his way to Busan." Chaeyeon joined in.
"Only because Busan is a pretty place, not anymore that's it filled with those things." JB scoffed.
"So you guys have seen them." Jihyo spoke.
"A few roam around, but not a lot." Chaeyeon pulled her sister towards her and let the others enter the settlement.
They all stopped and stared.
"Everyone please make them feel welcomed." JB announced as everyone seemed to disperse.
