A few hours past and the girls came to a stop, they were near the edge of the town. They've been non-stop walking and decided to take a breather before going again. Nayeon, Sana and Momo dropped their bags near a lake as everyone followed them to sit down.
Sana grabbed out a metal pot and a metal grate to be placed on. They grabbed a few water bottles and poured them into the pot. During that, Momo made a fire out of bark, sticks and flint she had in her bag."Why can't we drink the water already?" Yuna groaned.
"We have to kill the bacteria, that's why we boil it or else we'll get sick." Tzuyu replied.
They all gathered around the fire.
"I should have asked this before, but where are we going?" Lia asked.
"Busan, the only way out is by boat, apparently." Dahyun said.
"It is the only way, I know it is!" Chaeryeong shouted.Sana place the metal grate on top of the fire and with the pot full of water, they waited until it was boiled.
The awkward silence was unbearable, the girls started to have their own entertainment whilst they waited.
"Let's go there." Ryujin pointed and raced over to the strange pathway over to the other side of the river. She hopped onto each one and beckoned the others.
"It's like hopscotch, but way harder." Yuna smiled.
"Come on Lia!" Chaeryeong waved.
Lia slowly stepped onto one and then another, then gradually getting faster and faster. She hopped around like a bunny, balancing on one leg—she almost fell. Ryujin luckily caught her by the shirt and pulled her back up."You okay?" Ryujin smiled.
"Yeah... thanks."

"Look at them, such children." Jihyo said.
"At least they're having fun." Nayeon smiled
Damn rolled in, they thought it was best for them to stay where they were for the night.
Each of them huddled together, except for the youngest of the group. Tzuyu, Chaeyoung and especially Dahyun, who was watching the young girls from afar.
She didn't look particularly herself, something was bothering her.
"Are you okay?" Tzuyu asked as she and Chaeyoung sat down beside her."I dunno, I do and I don't at the same time." She fiddled with her fingers.
"Are you feeling nervous?" Chaeyoung asked.
"Yes."
"Are your hands sweating?"
"Yes."
"Is it because of a particular someone?" Tzuyu smirked alongside Chaeyoung.
Dahyun covered her face with her hair, "So you know..."
"What, that you've liked Momo since you first met, yeah we knew." Chaeyoung chuckled.Dahyun went completely red and started to tie her hair around her face.
"Would it be okay if girl likes girl?" She whispered.
"Girl? It's 20–something, I don't think people would judge you for who you like especially in these times." Chaeyoung sighed.
"Okay, but it's been a year since I've seen her, what do I say or do?"
Tzuyu patted her back giving her a reassuring smile, "Just be your sweet self, a lot of people fall for it."
"What do you mean?" Dahyun questioned, but laughter was all they heard from behind them. Yuna, Chaeryeong, Ryujin and Lia walked up to them."I think you guys should lower your voices." Chaeryeong said.
"Dahyun having girl problems?" Ryujin teased. The youngsters started to laugh even harder.
"C-Can you keep it down?!" Dahyun exclaimed.
"Don't worry Dahyun, your secret is safe with us." Yuna replied.
"I promise I won't tell anyone, I don't know about these three though." Lia smiled.Dahyun sighed in relief, "But I still don't know what I should do?"
"Do absolutely nothing." Ryujin snickered as everyone stared at her, "I was joking."
"Could tell her how you feel?" Yuna said.
"I don't think Dahyun has that much confident to do that." Tzuyu chuckled, putting the girl.
"You could just wait until you have the confidence to tell her." Lia suggested.
"True, but she has to hurry up or else the others will get to her first." Chaeryeong pointed."Momo seems fond of Mina." Lia pointed out.
"Hey! N-No... she's just friends with her." Chaeyoung stuttered as she pouted.
"But I think Momo would most likely end up with Sana since they spend the most together." Ryujin joined in.
"What do you mean 'most likely end up with', I don't believe it!" Tzuyu huffed as if smoke puffed out of her.
"Alright, I get it. You all have crushes on the Japanese girls." Yuna smiled.
The three turned away from them.
"I mean, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu. I don't see you two confessing your love." Ryujin said.
They became quiet unable to come back."A-Aren't you guys supposed to act like children?!" Tzuyu shouted.
"I don't think we're the children here, the three of you are sulking." Chaeryeong laughed.
They stood up and sighed.
"Just don't tell anyone, okay?" Chaeyoung spoke.
The four nodded and gestured them to follow.
"Come on, we're all children at heart. Let's just have fun." Lia smiled wildly, her eyes even creating a smile.

"Would you look at that." Sana exclaimed, her finger swayed over to the girls playing in the lake.
"Perfect match I should say." Jeongyeon said.
"They need high morales and so do we." Nayeon said as she laid onto the floor.
"We should really talk about the journey, we need to be prepared for anything and kill anyone who threatens our lives." Momo spoke in a low voice, "Are you all ready for that?"
They stayed silent, not particularly sure if they could answer."That's why I stuck with a pistol, the first time I held this was to scare off strangers. I was ready to protect Tzuyu." Mina held the newly weapon in her hand, "I would gladly protect all of you."
"I may not be skilled with a gun, but I'll try to avoid shoot any of you." Jeongyeon nodded and smiled.
"I question all of your abilities with a gun." Jihyo said.
"Don't worry, I think we all think the same." Sana joked.A sudden splash unexpectedly hit the group of girls. Luckily missing the fireplace, but drenching Nayeon, Jeongyeon and Jihyo.
"Ah whoops—." Yuna covered her mouth.
"Oh! All of you are dead!" Jeongyeon jumped to her feet and tackled Chaeyoung to the shallow water.
"Hey! It wasn't me, tackle Yuna!" Chaeyoung retaliated.
"Is that right?" Nayeon smirked and kicked her feet in the water splashing all those who were in.
"Oh you're on!" Chaeryeong shouted.
Jihyo came in to join, "Don't forget about me."The last three sat there watching their friends play like children, especially Jeongyeon throwing them into the water from behind.
"We've gotten closer than I expected." Momo mumbled to herself.
"Tell me." Mina began, "Are we all going to get out here alive?"
"We'll do our best, but this is harder than the journey before." Sana said.
Mina clutched her hand, she was speaking to the most experienced fighters she met, a bonus that they were from the same country.
"Then promise me that you'll do your best to protect them." Mina cried.
Sana and Momo hesitated to answer, but from the sight of Mina and the others somewhat gave them the courage.
"I promise." They both said.Mina grew a smile, "Good..." She walked over to them and wrapped her arms around their necks.
"But let's keep and eye on them if they get too out of control." Momo chuckled.
"Hey you Japanese girls!" Jeongyeon shouted, "Come join us!"Without hesitation, they joined in with a big splash.
