In the midst of the early morning, Jihyo was the only one from her group wake up early enough to see the sunrise. She heard rustling from behind her, noticing it was just Seungyeon.
"Morning." Jihyo spoke.
"Morning to you too." Seungyeon yawned as she moved over to the side, "Mind if I come to one of your scavenges?"
Jihyo laughed, "Of course, you can go with Mina to even out the groups."
Seungyeon nodded her head, passively agreeing to what she said.
"Your group has survived the worst especially how big it is."
Jihyo laughed at the thought, fourteen people surviving on this journey would surely die or at least abandon each other, but why haven't they?
Were they this desperate?"Do you think it's luck? Or will?" Seungyeon asked.
It still baffled her, with this amount of people they were a big target for people and even the infected would spot them easily. Maybe it was luck, but she new that with luck came with their determination to push through. They were nearing to their goal, nearing to the end.
"I think we just want to see how far we'll go before we stop. Pushing ourselves over our comfort zones." Jihyo said with such confidence.Afterwards, the rest of the group had woken up, they were more energetic than the day before.
Jeongyeon's team were set to scavenge for food rations those were only for safe-keeping if there was no more food in the settlement. Mina's group left a bit early to find one generator. Jihyo's group stayed and helped in the settlement keeping watch of the area.

Heading further out, Jeongyeon's group ventured out into the furthest point of the Busan, searching for food rations, but as well as a generator. One group was not enough. With only a little amount of people roaming around the streets every now and then, they figured there must be infected around.
Maybe that's why they were less people, maybe they were running away.Whatever happens, they must keep on moving.
They had stopped in front of a church. It was rundown as if it was due for renovation. The doors were broken and the hinges were rusted to the point that one touch could shatter it.
"Did I mention I was Christian?" Dahyun blurted out.
Their eyes dart towards her as she she stared at the cross, it was left untouched seemingly out of respect.
"I didn't know you were religious." Jeongyeon said with clear shocked expression.
"I had no reason to share." Dahyun shrugged.
"Then, should we pay our respects." Chaeyoung smirked and slipped through the doors.
"As we steal from their property, nice going there." Ryujin followed her through.
"Churches are always about charity." Momo sniggered.
Dahyun smiled, "I don't think this is what they meant, but no one is here."With only a few hours left of the day, they were desperate to find a generator. Inside, benches were stacked in one corner and papers and books were scattered on the floor, the alter at the back was just an empty stage. Only the fruitful smell of incense lingered around.
"There's an upstairs." Ryujin pointed at a hanging balcony.
"I'll come over." Dahyun said.
"Here." Jeongyeon handed her a small gun, "You can never be too careful."Ryujin nodded, she walked up the creaky stairs with Dahyun whilst the others stayed on the ground floor
"Where should we start?" Chaeyoung asked as she brushed her hair to the back.
"There's nothing in the main room, we could try the back." Jeongyeon said.
They knew that they may not find anything useful, but it was worth a shot.As the group separated, Jeongyeon and the others went into the the room next to the altar, it was a room where the priest and the Eucharistic ministers get ready. There was a large statue of a cross that had fallen down from the wall.
"Why did we decide do search a church?" Momo asked.
"We had no choice, we're in a tight schedule." Jeongyeon said. The walked around for a bit, only one lone bench stood in the middle of the room, they sat down
"Since we're here we could say our prayers." Chaeyoung blurted.
They looked at her weirdly.
"Kind of unlike you." Jeongyeon sniggered.
"Hey! I'm Roman Catholic, this is not unlike my religion."
"Why are we learning this now?" Momo gasped and smiled.
"Like Dahyun said, there was no reason to." Chaeyoung place her hands on front of her face.
"I don't know if praying is my thing." Jeongyeon said.
"Okay, then let's just say what we are thankful for and what we wish for."
