Chapter 23

Will opened the door with a wide smile and MGL plastic sunglasses gracing his square face.

"Hello everyone!" He exclaimed in a thick Geordie accent. "Talia, Simon, JJ, and... You're Sadie, yeah?"

"Hi, yeah, I'm Sadie." I grinned and gave a small introductory hug. 

"Anyways, everyone come on in!"

I walked inside to the party to instantly hear Harry yelling at everyone to 'get their asses to the kitchen for shots.'

I laughed at Harry before walking up to the kitchen with everyone and picking up a shot of what smelled like whiskey.

"Cheers to twenty fucking twenty-one!" Someone raised their glass and cheered.

Everyone (including me) raised their glasses and repeated the phrase before downing their shot.

I scrunched my face up and coughed after taking the shot, before turning around and walking into a tall figure.

"Oi, dickhe- Oh, hey Cal!" I exclaimed to Freezy.

"'Ello, Sadie!" He laughed, patting me on the head to mock my height. "Oi, you're looking peng in that dress."

"I know I do." I spun around displaying my dress. I watched as Cal's lips moved saying something. "WHAT?" I yelled. "I CAN'T HEAR YOU, THIS MUSIC IS TOO LOUD!"

Cal chuckled and shook his head.

"GET SOME ALCOHOL IT'LL HELP!" Cal advised loudly.

"WELL WHERE THE FUCK IS THE ALCOHOL?" I asked setting off a laugh from Cal. He took my wrist and led me to a stand of red cups, each one labelled with what alcohol it contained.

I picked up a cup of champagne as Cal picked up a cup of beer.

"OI, ODDS ON DOWNING YOUR DRINK ONE-TO-FIVE." Cal asked.

"OKAY, THREE, TWO, ONE." I counted down.

"TWO." We said at the same time.

"FUUUCCCCKKKK." I groaned, followed by a giggle as I tipped my head back and allowed the drink to slip down my throat in one go. Cal cheered as I raised my cup once I'd downed it.

"OI, ODDS ON YOU DOWNING YOUR CUP, ONE-TO-FIVE." I challenged Cal with a grin.

"MATE, I'LL DO THIS ANYWAYS." Cal laughed before downing his cup in only a few seconds.

We high-fived and laughed before parting ways.

I picked up a new cup of champagne before setting off from the table and being called over by Talia.

"Hey, everyone!" I greeted Talia and the other girls.

"Oh my God, I love your dress!" A taller woman with straight blonde hair asked.

"Thank you so much, I love your shoes!" I exclaimed. The blonde was wearing a lovely black long-sleeve dress with a pair of tall, black boots. "I'm Sadie, by the way."

"I'm Freya." The blonde grinned.

"I'm Gee." A women with blue hair introduced before giving a bubbly laugh which made me smile uncontrollably.

"You have literally got the best laugh!" I exclaimed with a laugh of my own.

"So how do you know people from the party?" Freya asked.

"I'm Ethan's sister." I explained before taking a sip of my drink. "And I'm dating JJ..."

"Surely Ethan went ham when he found about that, though?" Gee asked.
