Chapter 10

"I fricking love Disney." I yawned and stated.

"I know right." Tobi agreed. "Best movies ever."

We had gotten back to Tobi's place and were currently cuddling on his couch, overdosing on glucose, and watching a movie. I had my head laid on his chest, he had an arm held protectively over me, and a blanket had been draped over us. I was currently wearing one of Tobi's hoodies and joggers instead of my uncomfortable work clothes- so if Tobi is reading this, then thanks for the clothes, mate.

"Ugh, do we have to go for the next interview?" I groaned and questioned.

"Sadly you do." Tobi said, turning the TV off.

I got up from his comfortable grasp and stretched before going to his bathroom to change into my formal clothes and touch up on my makeup.

"OI, SADIE, YOU READY TO GO?" He shouted from the other side of the apartment.

"YEP, I'LL BE THERE IN JUST A SEC."

I took a quick sip of water from the tap before hurrying out of the bathroom and to the from door.

"Right, let's go, then." Tobi said as I reached the front door.

"Jeez, these aren't comfortable to walk in." I realised and gestured to my heels.

"It's a good thing I have arms and stamina to hold my bestie, then." Tobi said in a girly voice.

"Huh-" My confusion was cut off as Tobi scooped me off the floor and held me in a bridal position before jogging down the corridor with me. 

I put my arms around his neck and laughed, letting out a small yelp of alarm when we ran down the stairs with me.

"You know, I found you running down the stairs with me was very condescending."

"What do you me- wow. Again with the puns?"

"Sorry, I had to."

"Please... just stop..."

I walked out of the building grinning from the feeling of success. I walked calmly up to Tobi's car, before getting in a squealing, hitting my legs with my clenched fists in excitement. Tobi turned around to me and laughed.

"I'm guessing you got it?" Tobi assumed.

"Yep." I grinned madly. "Sure- it was mainly because PrettyLittleThing are rivals with SHEIN and wanted to take one of their models- but I still got it!"

Tobi laughed before reaching over and tousling my hair affectionately. I tipped his snapback off his head and put it on my own as a comeback, grinning foolishly at Tobi's offended face.

"Right, so you need to go back to the flats now, to get ready for a date with JJ- right?" Tobi confirmed, starting the car up.

"I don't even know if it's a date- it could just be a friendly meetup, to be honest." I shrugged.

"Any meetup with a girl is a date, to JJ." Tobi said causally.

There was an awkward silence after he said that, allowing both of us to marinate in our own thoughts.

"So where are you going?" Tobi asked. "You know, for safety reasons."

"I mean..." I thought about what JJ had said. "He said he would take me to the finest restaurant in all of London, and then as I joke I asked whether he meant McDonalds, and he replied with KFC." I rambled. "So... I don't know whether we're actually going somewhere posh, or somewhere inexpensive."
