"California...?" I turned to JJ and questioned, eyes wide and speech slow. JJ looked back with a surprised expression, lips twitching but not saying anything.

"Ma'am, Sir, please take your passports and proceed into the aeroplane." The air hostess requested. JJ stuttered before nodding and taking the passports from her, before looking back at me. I gave a small nod before walking with him through an airtight tube and into the plane.

"So, uhm... California..." I stated, nodding my head slowly and fiddling with my hands as we waited for the queue between the aisles of seats in the plane to shorten.

"Yeah uhm... I'd planned for you to find that out a bit later and in a much cooler way." JJ mumbled awkwardly.

"Yeah..." I nodded again before chuckling. "Why are we being so awkward...? I've never been to California and I can't wait at all!" I exclaimed.

"Really?" JJ looked up at me with hope. "I thought you were disappointed."

"I would never be disappointed- even if you took me to... I don't really know any bad places to go." I shrugged.

"How would you react if I took you to Syria?" JJ asked, grinning.

"Probably NOT so positively." I giggled. "Anyways, where are our seats in here?"

"They are... These ones." JJ looked at the one to the left, and the other to the right. Each side had padded, black leather seats with sides around the seat which made it a little booth. There were two windows beside the plane as well as a black ledge beside the window. Between the seat and ledge was a space with some sort of holder- presumably for a phone. There was a large gap between the seat and the seat in front, and on the behind of the seat was a reasonable sized screen, and a pouch underneath it, holding a remote, manual, and pair of surprisingly good looking headphones.

"These are... really class." I stated slowly, doing my best not to swear from shock of how amazing it is.

"Mhm, I can take your stuff and put it in the thingie above the seats?" JJ suggested. I turned and looked at him with a smile. Most people had already went through to their seats and were beginning to sit down which made the aisle empty. I reached out and put my arms around JJ, hugging him and resting my head against his chest.

"Thank you so much for literally everything you've done already... I can't even express with words how much I appreciate everything..." I smiled and said quietly.

"Hey, it's no problem." JJ chuckled. "This is gonna be fun as hell for both of us... Now let me take your bag and put it in the storage thingie."

"I'm gonna keep it with me down here in case I need anything- that way if I need anything I can get it easily." I explained.

"Understandable." He nodded.

I began taking my bag off and setting it on the floor, getting used to my booth on the left and his on the right.

"Psst, Sadie." JJ whispered from the seat on the right of the aisle. "I know you can't thank me enough by just using words, sooo... Wanna join the mile high club?"

"JJ!"

"Is that a yes...?"

"...Have you seen that 'How to have sex on an airplane' video on YouTube?"

"What the fuck."

...

It was five hours into the flight, and so far I had edited the clips of the girls and I when we had gone to Westfield, completed a few more levels of the game I was playing, given people heart attacks by my Twitter and Instagram posts, watched some TikTok, watched some of the Dream SMP members' videos, and eaten a pretty crappy bowl of Mac 'n' Cheese with strawberry daiquiri (a drink JJ had recommended- and wasn't too bad).
