Chishiya felt pity for her. He couldn't describe what he felt. He thought he couldn't care for others. But why did he feel the need to protect her?

It didn't make sense. They barely just met a week ago and now they're acting as if they're allies. He had to get out of that situation; his mind cluttered with a lot of thoughts regarding Setsuna. Will Niragi try to pursue her?

The thought did infuriate him how some of the militants don't care about others. But neither does he.. Niragi is like a spitting image of him with rage.

Kuina was about to say something when she saw Chishiya fast pacing towards her. But he didn't say a word but push past her.

It was odd of him. Very unlike himself at all.

The morning reached the very next day. The curtains were open so the sun beamed onto Setsuna's face causing her to groan. She turned over onto her side covering her face with a pillow.

She slowly got up and walked to the bathroom. Setsuna's eyes were a bit red from her pounding headache from the night before. Her body ached from the last game she played.

Will this ever end?

She stripped down to have a quick shower. Briefly feeling the water touch her skin, she had no injuries except a small bruise near her left hip. The moment when the intruder knocked her down and was ready to kill her.

Chishiya saved me...

She felt grateful to still even be alive. She begins to start questioning herself what it means to be alive. It was confusing to her. The Hearts game Mira plans will commence some time within a week. But Setsuna doesn't know where the location is.

"Hai, Setsuna-san." Asahi waved from behind alongside her friend Momoka.

"It's you two..." Setsuna muttered but was audible.

"Aren't you afraid of what they're capable of?" Momoka stood beside Setsuna and fumbled with her beach skirt not making eye contact.

"Who wouldn't be. I feel like any second I breathe or walk, some laser will put me out of my misery. It's like I'm walking on eggshells." Setsuna admitted and it felt good to express her feelings.

Little did she know Chishiya was up on the balcony listening to their convo from underneath. The trio were alone but they didn't sense him at all.

Who was she referring to? A wicked smirk engraved his lips. So she is indefinitely hiding something. And you know what Chishiya is like? Solving mysteries or puzzles seem to be his specialty. Especially diamond games.

Seeking out an answer wouldn't be the hardest job. But pushing her into a corner might be the only solution.

"Ah... I- no we have to um go now. I'll see you around, Setsuna-san." Asahi grabbed Momoka's wrist and dragged her out of the lobby.

It wasn't that peaceful anyway. Some people come and go all the time through the lobby.

Should she take a break or participate in more games? She had a slight limp from the last game. She seems to might've pulled a hamstring. But it wasn't that bad.

Before she could possibly leave the premises. She spotted the Hatter walking towards her alongside Ann and a devious Mira trailing from behind.

"Ah, Setsuna-san! It's been two days since we had that game together. I've been meaning to talk to you in more private." The Hatter signalled them to walk with him.

Ann and Mira kept very silent as they trailed from behind.

"Before I tell you... you have to keep it between us—"
