There's barely 20 minutes left of this game!!
Setsuna caught up to Chishiya on the top of the balcony looking down at the lobby. Very loud and rambunctious at the very least.
"So this is what it feels like to betray your comrades. Maybe I should have thought about them before considering the plan. Don't you think, Setsuna-san?" Chishiya broke her out of her thoughts.
She nervously laughed at his comment. "I think you did what you thought was best at the time. Arisū and Usagi can handle themselves. I have faith they'll get us all out of this." Setsuna tilted her head and smiled.
Chishiya frowned, he didn't expect her to respond with that. He can see her painful smile and how much dying would've been a favour for her.
"Why... why did you choose to stay here? If you completed the games as you said you did once before... then why stay?" Chishiya couldn't figure out her motives at all. He finds her intriguing and everything about her from characteristics to personality struck him in a different way.
"Here in the Borderlands... the law doesn't exist. You can commit any heinous crime and get away with it. I followed what I thought was right; change is how I saw it. I wanted to change this country so no more would have to die. But... I got too caught up with some here that now I just want you all to live whether it means I die. This place is too cruel for the nice and those with good hearts." Setsuna looked down at her hands not really knowing what she was saying at all.
However, Setsuna noticed Chishiya had a sly smirk playing on his lips. "Hmm.. you're full of surprises Fuji-san. The least I expected was that you cared, now I see what your intentions are. It wasn't for your sake, you wanted to stop the dealers from creating the games. But... you soon realized there was someone above the command– perhaps I'm getting a little headstrong with this." Chishiya closed his eyes as he scratched the back of his head.
"No. You're completely right. Realizing what or who I was up against. I was and still am completely powerless." Setsuna looked up at him. Was he showing pity for her? She didn't care anymore at the very least.
"Chishiya~ I think you're someone who can completely understand me." She took his hand in hers. She could finally admit her affection for him was growing by day. However, she was unsure what he feels for her. Her view points changed the more she understood Chishiya. This woman could touch him and he wouldn't care. Perhaps his views certainly have changed.
Before Chishiya could thank her for the kindness she has given. A loud shriek broke their moment.
"Kuina!!" Usagi screamed out for the girl who was being dragged by Agni. Tatta was unconscious on the floor. The sigh was disgusting; it made Setsuna shake in her spot. Chishiya closely watched his comrades challenge Agni.
"It was Agni? So, he really did control his comrades and order them to kill each other at the Beach in order to prevent an investigation?!" The voice of Asahi broke the tension.
"Why... do they must fight like this?" Setsuna turned to Chishiya who had an amused look on his face.
"We're all humans, and in order to survive you cut off those that aren't useful. Agni's humanly nature says he hated the Beach members. But I don't know why..." Chishiya pondered off as the two turned back at the crazily former crowd.
"We're short on time... so why don't we have a straightforward talk? Will you answer one simple question?" Arisū paused; his face all battered up and he could barely walk. Setsuna felt sorry for him and how the Beach society treated him.
"Are you the witch?" He asked meanwhile everyone's eyes widened. Arisū then goes to explain how there is no possible way he could've been the witch; as he was convicted of treason.
