Cross' POV

The problem with Boss is that he has no sense of privacy. If he wants something from you, he'll just show up, say what he wants and leave.
"You're taking care of Blue."
"Good morning to you too." I grumbled as he slammed the door.
Take care of...like Blue was some helpless two-year-old. I sighed.
"You are getting up sometime, right?"
"No shit, would you leave me alone, Chara?"
"Attitude...
"Oh, I'm so sorry, did I offend you?"
"As a matter of fact, you did."
"Well, get used to it."
I headed downstairs to see what I could scrounge up for breakfast, only to be disappointed. "Killer, you fucktard, you ate the whole box of Choco Puffs again?"
"Where's Blue?"
"Probably still in his room or something...why?"
"You're the one who said he was cute. Don't you want to make sure he's okay?"
"I want to give him space. He might not like all the attention..."
"To be honest, I don't really mind..."
I turned. Blue was walking down the stairs. He was wearing long sleeves and pants, but it only made me remember all the scars...
There must have been hundreds of them, some even overlapped onto each other. I can't imagine how painful that must have been...
"Oh, uh, morning."
"Morning." Blue plucked an apple from the rarely used fruit bowl and plopped down on the couch.
"Wait, that's it?"
"Hmm?"
"That's your entire breakfast."
"I'm not that hungry. Oh, I saw Killer put another box of that stuff up in one of those top shelves..." He pointed.
"You are a savior."
Sure enough, I found the box up in the top shelf. I added it to my stash and put the empty box in its place.
"So" I said, shoving a fistful in my mouth. "Where you wanna go?"
"What do you mean?"
"Exshploring. Around the cashle?"
"You mean you'll show me around? I've never really been out of this area..."
I grabbed the bag of cereal from the box, and grabbed his hand. "Come on."
When we got to the staircase, there was a door and a hallway on either side. I pointed to the door on the left. "Laundry room." And the one on the right. "Closet." Then I dragged him into the left hallway.
There wasn't really anything special down that way, just a dining room that we never used, Nightmare's throne room, and a sort of trophy/tapestry room. Blue seemed pretty interested in that one, but he let me lead him back down to the other side of the hall.
They passed through the training area first. I noticed Blue looked around at all the weapons and training equipment like it was poison, but at the same time...
We moved into the next room. I took a deep breath. "And...that's the bottom floor." I turned back to Blue.
"It's gorgeus..." Blue was looking around the room with a look of wonder. I never really went in here, but it was never that hard to tell what a ballroom was. Every castle had one, after all.
A plan began to form itself in my mind. It was a pretty simple one, but effective, if movies had taught me anything. "Wanna dance?"
Blue giggled. "Sure, why not?"
I held out my hand, which Blue took lightly, and twirled him around, bringing my other hand to rest slightly above Blue's hip. Blue draped his other hand over my shoulder.
Blue closed his eyes, beginning to hum as we swayed together. If it was a song, I had never heard it, not that I listened to that type of music.
I twirled him around with a smile. This actually wasn't half bad.
"Ugh, gag me."
Shut up.
"I will if you kiss him after the dance is over."
WHAT?!
"You heard me. Smooch him, and I'll let you be for all of tomorrow."
I can't just-
"Yeah, you can. I believe in you, lover boy!"
Don't call me that.
"Kiss him. Kiss him. Kiss him."
Chara continued to chant as the song came to an end. I took a deep breath, about to say something, anything to explain what I was about to do...
Blue's phone rang. He picked it up. "It's Papy! I have to take this." He turned away.
Whew.
"Damn it. You still have to. You guys are spending the whole day together."
Chara, no.
"Chara, yes."
"No, it's okay, I'm fine. They're really sweet, I promise none of them would hurt me." Blue walked out of the room. Curious, and also a natural eavesdropper, I followed, just to see what Blue said about us.
"Well, Killer's pretty shy...no, Paps, I don't. What about Nightmare? The longest interaction I had with him was when he threw a phone at me. No. Papy, I love you and all, but get your mind out of the gutter. Razz ignores me, I think I offended him at some point. No. NO. Papy! I'm not flirting or sleeping with any of them, what is your deal? Just because I'm polygamous does not mean that I fall head over heels for everyone I meet. And I got raped not too terribly long ago, do you think I want to screw someone anytime soon? What? You ask that like you think I'm gonna tell you. I'm hanging up." He ended the call.
"What was that about?"
"My brother's a perv, that's all."
"Yikes. To be honest, it was kind of funny only hearing your side of the conversation."
"I'm sorry you had to hear any of it. My brother likes to make sure he knows everything about me."
"Isn't that...invasive?"
"Yeah...but it's not like I actually tell him everything. I've turned into a decent liar actually."
"Good for you. I...didn't know you were-"
"A lot of people teased me for it. It might have been part of why...Ink and Dream..."
"I think it's a good idea. I don't know all of how it works but...I accept you."
Blue smiled. "That's...something I don't hear a lot...thank you."
"You're welcome."
"Kiss him!" Chara, in a burst of some sort of unknown power, Chara managed to push me into Blue. He yelped, but instead of backing up, he helped lift me back up. "S-sorry." I laughed. "I'm a klutz."
"It's alright." He smiled.
I realized he was still hugging me, so I hugged back. He made sort of a happy whine and shoved his face into my jacket.
"Y-you're too cute..."
"Aww, you're sweet."
"Th-thanks."
Blue looked up. "Are you okay?" He put his hand on my cheek. "You're really warm, are you-"
Here goes nothing. I kissed him. And it only took him a second to kiss back.
The door opened. "He-woah, did I walk in on something?"
I yelped and jerked back, fleeing up the stairs.

Blue's POV

It was a surprise, the kiss. A good surprise. I kissed back.
None of it was forced. It was...sweet. I liked it.
And then, Dust opened the door, and Cross bolted like a scared rabbit.
"How come he got a real kiss?"
"Because he was too sweet to not get one. Why?"
"Cuz I 'm jealous."
"Of course you are."
Killer entered the room and went straight to the kitchen. It was only a few seconds before we both heard, "WHERE THE FUCK IS MY CEREAL CROSS!"
From upstairs, there was an answer. "LEARN TO HIDE IT BETTER, DIPSHIT!"

1257 words. The longest chapter I have ever written. This took me two days. I have no pictures. I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
