Once I stop bouncing on the net I see a hand off to the edge. I grab it and notice it was Fours hand.
"First jumper Tris! "
I hear him mumble something like not a surprise there but I couldn't tell.
I hear a very high pitch girl scream and I know it's Uriah.
He gets off the net and walks over to where I am.
Then Lynn. Then Chris. Then Mar. Next an Erudite boy. Then the rest of the initiates and then my dad,Zeke,and Four walk over to us.
"Transfers you are with Four. Dauntless born you guys are with Zeke. Have fun"
My dad says.
I saw him look for Caleb on the roof but couldn't find him. Since he isn't here. But he didn't look surprised either.
Once the transfers leave Zeke starts to talk
"Okay. Well I'm Zeke but most of you knew that already. So I'm just going to take you to the dorms and then you can do whatever. But tomorrow training starts at 8 in the morning and don't be late. Understood?" We all nod.
"Follow me" He says
We walk to the dorms in silence. But once we go inside we all talk about who sleeps where.
I end up sleeping in the bunk in between Christina and Uriah.
"Hey Tris can I talk to you outside for a second alone?" he asks.
"Yeah sure Zeke" I say. Chris wiggles her eyebrows at me and I roll my eyes.
Once the door shuts Zeke looks at me nervously.
"So what did you need to talk about Zeke?" I ask
"Um.. Wellihavehadacrushonyouforawhileandiwantedtoknowifyoulikedmeback." He says super fast.
"Sorry what was that Zeke?" I ask
"I have had a crush on you for a while and I wanted to know if you liked me back" He says this time slower.
"Yes Zeke I do like you. I have for a while. Why haven't you asked me out then you pansycake?" I say
"Well I was scared you didn't like me back. And your dad scares me." He says
"Why wouldn't I like you back? Yeah I know my dad looks scary but he isn't that bad." I say
"I don't know why you wouldn't like me it's just you are so beautiful and smart and brave that I-" I cut him off by kissing him.
He is very shocked at first but kisses back.
He wraps his arms around my waist and I put my arms around his neck. I like his lip asking for entrance and he opens his mouth. The kiss turns into a make out session. And ends when I hear squealing and when we break apart I see Christina and Uriah standing there smiling at us.
"Are you two together?" asks Uriah
We both nod and Chris jumps up and down squealing.
"Well I guess we will leave you two love birds alone" Uriah says winking at us.
After they leave us Zeke turns to me.
"You want to join me for some dauntless cake?" He asks
"Of course" I say and we walk hand in hand to the dining hall.
