I walk around the compound looking for Uriah.
I really should have asked Zeke where he was.
I go to the chasm and find him there
I walk over to him and tap his shoulder. He turns around and I push him away from the chasm. I want to hurt him not kill him.
"Tris what are you doing?" He slurs a bit
I sucker punch him in the face.
He falls with blood dripping out of his nose. He stands up again. I punch him in the gut and kick his ribs.
He cries out in pain but doesn't stop me. He must know that he deserves this.
"This is what you get when you hurt my family. Mar, Lynn, Will, Chris, Zeke, Zach, Victoria, my mom, dad, and Tori are my family. You are no longer in that family. You so much as tap Mars shoulder I will give you another beating. Leave her and my family alone. Goodbye Uriah" I say
"Wait Tris" He says
"What" I snap
"Tell Mar that I'm sorry and I love her. And I will give her money for the baby. But I'm just not daddy material. I didn't know we would have kids. I'm sorry to you too. Thank you for wooping my ass. I really deserve it for what I've done. Please just know that I'm so sorry to everyone. I just can't be the father she wants me to be" He says weakly
I sigh.
"I will tell her. I forgive you but you are still no family to me. You are not my brother-in-law" I say
I walk away and head home.
I walk inside and see Mar holding Victoria and Zeke holding Zach.
"Hey" I say
"Hey" they glumly say back
"Uriah will be leaving you alone. He told me to tell you that he's sorry and that he loves you. He said that he just can't be the father that you need. He's also not ready for kids and didn't know you wanted to have any" I say
"Yeah like I said he's not mature enough. But I think we can be friends someday but since he's not going to be a father I don't want to be with him" she says
"He said he'd give you money to support the baby also" I say
"That's nice of him. Did you beat his ass?" Zeke says
"Yeah I did. He will have a broken nose, bruised ribs, and he will have a very sore stomach" I say
He chuckles and kisses me head. Then my lips.
"Yeah I'm still here you know" Mar says and I laugh and pull away
"So are you interested in any other guys?" I ask and wiggle my eyebrows
"Okay you're gonna think I'm crazy, but I like Eric" she says
