I'm waiting to go into the fear landscape room. I look around and see everyone else has went. Uriah is on his 7th fear. I find Zeke standing by the door. He smiles at me and I walk over to him.
"Hey" I say
"Hey babe " He says
"Do you think all of us will make it? Uriah, Lynn, Marlene, Christina, Will and me?" I ask
"Definitely " He says
Uriah walks out of the room and sits down looking flustered.
"Tris " My dad says
" Well I got to go but I will be back" I say
"Good luck" He says
I kiss his cheek and walk over to my dad. He injects me with the serum and tells me good luck. I walk into the room and a few seconds later the scenery changes.
I'm in a field. I look around and see a ring of fire going around me. I look up and see the crows. They start to fly down to me. I grab a branch and stick it into the fire. I swing it around at the birds.
The scenery changes
I'm in a glass tank. I feel water touching my feet. The water is coming from a pipe. I hit and kick the glass with all my might. It doesn't break. I can't tap the glass or they will know I'm divergent.
What would a dauntless do? I think. The water is now at my shoulders. I take off my jacket and sink to the bottom and stuff it into the pipe.
The scenery changes
I'm tied to a stake and fire is all about me.
"Smell that stiff? It's your burning flesh " Peter says. "You know what I smell? I smell rain" I say. Rain starts pouring from the sky putting out the fire.
The scenery changes
I'm on a high rock out in the middle of the ocean. I read about oceans in school. A huge wave crashes on me. I fall to the ground but grip the rock just in time. Another wave comes after another. I decide to jump and swim deeper to the sea floor.
The scenery changes
I'm in abnegation? I look out the window in the room and see men coming towards the window. They start hitting it with their fists. I run to the closet in the room and shut the door. They break the glass. I feel around on the floor and find something that feels like a gun. I grab it open the door and shoot the attackers.
The scenery changes
I see my mom,dad,Caleb,and Zeke standing in front of me. I'm holding a gun in my hand. "Do it!" A voice hisses. It sounds like Jeanine Matthews the representative of erudite. "Do it or I will kill you. You have 10 seconds" she says. "Tris it's okay we understand" my mom says. Jeanine gets to two and I say "I'm sorry" I pull the trigger.
I look around and see the fear landscape room again. The door opens revealing my dad,Zeke, and other dauntless leaders.
"Well done Tris" My dad says
"Thank you" I say
"The banquet starts in 2 hours. The ranks will be up then. Go relax until then" my dad says
"Okay" I say
I go out if the room and everyone is clapping me on the back. I hear 'congratulations' and ' well dones'.
Zeke grabs my wrist and says "We can go back to the apartment if you want"
I nod and we join hands and walk back to the apartment hand in hand.
We get inside. I plop down onto the couch and he sits next to me. I start fiddling with my promise ring.
"What's wrong " He asks
"Nothing. Just nervous that everyone won't get in or me" I say
"Don't worry everyone will. As for you. I know you will get first. You were awesome at everything" He says
I kiss him and it turns into a make out session. It didn't escalate from there. Well not yet anyway. Maybe after the banquet.
We both fall asleep with Zeke's arms wrapped around me. We wake up to people walking and talking in the hall. It must be time to go.
"Let's go. I'm hungry" I say
Zeke laughs and says "Well let's go then "
We leave and walk with our hands intertwined.
We go into the pit and see my dad just started talking. He talks about how proud he is of us and says if you're not in the tip 10 you need to leave within 2 hours.
"Here are your ranks" He says

7. Marlene

I can't believe it. I got first!
"Congrats babe" Zeke says and hugs me from behind and kisses my cheek.
Christina is making out with Will curently.
I see Uriah and Marlene doing the same.
Lynn is awkwardly standing alone looking happy. Well happier then the usual Lynn.
Peter looks pist. I bet because he didn't get first.
My parents come over to me.
"Congratulations sweetie. We knew you could do it" my mom says
"Thank you" I say
"Well we know where she gets it from. I was first you were second. And Zeke was third" my dad says
I laugh and say good bye to them.
Zeke and I eat food. Grab dauntless cake to take back to the apartment and leave.
