I'm so happy we found Tris. I feel so bad that I let this happen. Tris told me before she fell asleep that it wasn't my fault but it feels like it.
Tris and I are in our apartment. Tris is sleeping and I'm on the couch thinking of how I could've done better at protecting Tris.
"Zeke?" I hear Tris say
"Yeah?" I say
"Can you come to bed. I want you to hold me in your arms" she says. I smile because she still needs me.
I pick her up bridle style and put her on the bed gently. I climbed in next to her and opened my arms. She snuggled up to my chest and I wrapped my arms tightly around her.
"Zeke. It's not your fault. You got knocked out. But you saved me before anything too bad happend. Please say you know it's not your fault" she says
I sigh "I know it's not my fault" I say
But now I actually believe her. I believe that it's not my fault. She's right I saved her and now she's safe.
"I love you Tris" I say
" I love you too Zekey" she says
The next morning I woke up with Tris not in my arms.
I jump out of bed frantically. I look in the bathroom. No. I run out of the bedroom to see her cooking bacon and dauntless pancakes.
"You scared me Tris. I thought you were taken again." I say As I wrap my arms around her waist and put my head in the crook of her neck.
She sighs "I'm sorry. I just thought my knight in shining armor deserved some homemade pancakes and bacon" she says
I kiss her neck and she turns around to face me. She kisses me passionately on my lips. She wraps her arms around my neck and puts her fingers in my hair.
I pull back and say "The pancakes might burn if we get too destracted."
She laughs and pecks my lips. She goes back to cooking while I get plates and forks.
"Oh and we don't have training today" I say
"Good. More time with my man." She says
I laugh and sit at the dining room table.
She gives me four pancakes and four pieces of bacon.
I eat everything in about a minute.
"Can I get some more" I ask
She wipes my face. Apparently I had syrup on my face. I kiss her again.
"Sure go get more" she says
I grab 4 more pancakes and 2 more pieces of bacon.
"I'm going to go shower" she says
"Wait. Let me finish eating and I will join you" I say
"I will get undressed and meet you there" she says
"No that's the best part. I would be missing that" I say and she laughs.
"Well hurry up then" she says suductive voice.
I scarf down my pancakes and I see she is going into the bedroom.
I just make it to see her getting undressed.
Yes. I think to myself.
She laughs.
"You said that out loud" she says
"Are laughing at me?" I say
She nods. I quickly pull off my sweats and boxers and grab her and run into the bathroom.
Today was so relaxing and fun. But tomorrow we have the final test. Tris has six fears. I know she'll make it into dauntless so I'm not worried. I bet she'll even beat Uriah.
