After training I decided that I wanted a tattoo. I asked Zeke if he wanted to go and he said yes. So now we are on our way to the tattoo parlor.
"What are you going to get?" Zeke asks me.
"I was thinking of 3 ravens on my collar bone, a dauntless symbol,and 'Zeke' on my wrist." I say
"Awe. It's funny. I was going to get 'Tris' o my chest over my heart." He says
"That's sweet. We will be twinsies" I say smiling.
He smiles back and says "Also 'Zeketris' on my forearm. Do you want to get that too?"
"Of course I will come on we are almost there. " I say
~~Time lapse after the tattoo parlor~~
While Zeke and I were walking back to our apartment I saw my parents.
"Hi dad. Hi mom." I say
"Hi you two. What are you up to?" My mom asks
"We were just at the tattoo parlor, getting tattoos." I say
"That's nice. Would you like to join us for dinner in the pit?" My mom asks.
I nod. I look at Zeke and see him looking at the floor. I look at my dad and see him glaring at Zeke. That's going to stop.
"Shall we." I say
As we are walking I grab Zeke's hand giving it a squeeze. He smiles at me. I look back to see my dad staring at us. But when he sees I'm looking at him his eyes soften.
My mom just smiles.
We get to the pit and sit at an empty table.
"I'm going to get food. Dad will you come help me?" I ask
"Sure sweetie." He says
We walk over to the line and I say" Why do you keep glaring at Zeke?"
"I don't want him to hurt you. You're my daughter and I'm just being protective over you." He says
"Zeke will never hurt me. I know that for a fact. He is terrified of you. I love him and he loves me. Can you please accept that?"
I say
"Yes Tris. I will try to. But if he does ever hurt you he's as good as dead. I love you sweetheart." He says
"I love you too dad" I say and hug him. We grab the food and walk back over to the table.
•Zeke POV •
They get up and walk to the line to get food while Tris' mom and I sit in awkward silence.
"So Zeke,how are you and my daughter doing?" She asks
"We are doing great. We love each other and I know she's the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. But right now we are too young but I plan to get her a promise ring." I say
"That's great Zeke. You have my blessing, but my husband that I can't help you with. I know for a fact you love each other and if you hurt her I will just have to kill you. And you know I'm not a liar." She says
"I promise you that I will never hurt her in anyway. And if I do I will let you kill me because I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I did." I say
"Thank you Zeke. I can tell you are telling the truth. Now we will talk more about this later because they are coming back." She says
"Here you go I got you a burger, fries, and dauntless cake." Tris says
"Thank you." I say and kiss her.
Then we are pulled apart by her dad.
"We are eating food now not someone else's face." Her dad says
I blush and Tris giggles.
But all in all today was a good day. Now I just got to get her a promise ring. But I will wait til after her initiation.
