"Are you sure I can lift this? What if it falls on me and I die? Or if I cause an avalanche?" Lance nervously looked over at Keith to tell if he was serious.

"Lance, I am more than positive that you can lift this boulder. Also, you are immortal unless the rock has a hidden stake, then I think you'll be okay." Keith chuckled as he placed a hand on Lance's shoulder.

The vampire approached the boulder. It was twice his size in height. Lance hugged it and looked back at Keith.

"Do it already!" Keith shouted, a smile still on his face.

Lance took a deep breath and closed his eyes. He used all of his strength to lift the boulder.

The rock was surprisingly light for something at its size. The vampire opened his eyes to confirm it was actually a boulder.

"Oh my god! I'm doing it! Keith, are you seeing this?!" Lance excitedly looked back at the witch. He looked as shocked as the vampire was.

"Damn..." Keith's face instantly turned red.

"Er-damn, that is a big rock you are carrying... all by yourself... uh, wow, I'm impressed." Keith stammered, awkwardly shuffling his feet.

"Aw, is someone admiring my incredible strength?" Lance smirked, still holding the boulder above his head.

"W-what?! No! Yes! Well, I haven't actually seen a vampire use its abilities before. Shut up!" Keith crossed his arms and looked away.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say, mullet," Lance smirked as he placed the boulder back in its spot.

Once it was placed back, the ground shook only slightly. Keith was slowly getting more and more excited to see what else Lance could do.

"Lance, I want you to run down the mountain at full speed all the way back to the cottage and back to me." Keith requested.

"What?!"

"Do you want to practice or not?" Keith cocked a brow at him with a smirk.

"Fuck you." Lance stuck his tongue out at him, Keith snickered in response.

The vampire took a deep breath and took off sprinting. In mear seconds, Lance did just what Keith had instructed him to do. When he came back, he was wheezing for air.

"You good?" Keith kneeled down to Lance's eye level.

"...So... hungry..." Lance breathed, desperately looking up at the witch for food.

Keith rolled up his sleeve and reached out his arm out to Lance. He hesitated at first but sunk his fangs in any way.

Almost immediately, Lance's hunger took over, and he drank until he was full. Keith was struggling to stay conscious, slumping slightly.

Without thinking, the witch placed his other hand on Lance's head. Silently begging for him to stop. The vampire snapped out of it and quickly pulled away.

"Sorry, I really need to get better at that," Lance said, looking down at the ground.

"Yeah," Keith attempted to stand but stumbled, falling back onto the hard surface.

"Oh my god, I didn't realize-!"

"Lance, stop yelling. Also, you'll learn from practice." Keith's arms and legs were shaking, weak from blood loss.

Quickly, Lance helped him stand, supporting his weight. Thankfully, the vampire was strong, so Keith was as light as a feather.

"Should I run home?" Lance asked, looking over at Keith.
