"ance... Lance... wake up."

"mmm, five more minutes."

The vampire grabbed the sheets and threw them over his head. Immediately, Keith pulled them off violently. The blankets flew across the room, draping the floor.

"Lance, get up!" Keith was getting moderately irritated.

"Okay, fine!" Lance whined as he sat up. The vampire looked around and noticed he was in Keith's bed.

"Wha-? Why am I in your bed-did YOU bring me here?!"

"NO! Er-yes... uh, it is not good to sleep in a chair. You'll get back pain. Er-you won't be able to... you won't be useful, okay?!"

Keith's cheeks turned bright red, either from embarrassment or flustered. Who knows at this point. Lance silently got up and left the room.

____

"GOD FUCKING DAMMIT!" Keith lashed out and smashed a glass bottle onto the floor. Shards flew in all directions.

"Keith, are you-?"

"SHUT UP!"

Keith slammed his fists against the wooden counter. The witch took a few shaky breaths before relaxing his muscles. He laid his head on the counter and sighed.

"Do you want to... talk about it?" Lance asked with little confidence.

"NO!" Keith stood up and shot a glare at the vampire.

"You sure-?"

"STOP! WHY ARE YOU SO NICE TO ME?!"

"What?"

"I've been treating you horribly, and you are still so nice to me! I don't get it! Why?!" Tears were threatening to burst out of Keith's eyes. Lance couldn't bring himself to tell Keith for some reason.

"I'm going out," Keith grumbled as he grabbed his satchel and making his way to the door. Lance looked down at his lap in shame.

Keith left the house, locking the door behind him. Lance sat in his chair. The vampire still feels horrible for biting Keith.

Not only from the neck but every single time, draining the blood from the witch. What's worse was that Keith's blood made Lance drool just by the scent alone.

____

All-day, Keith was gone, bothering Lance. He knew the witch could take care of himself, but he still worried about him.

Suddenly, the door slowly opened, and a familiar mullet walked in. Something was... off about him. Keith's posture was slouched, and there were water stains on his shirt.

"Keith? What happened to you?" Lance stood up and walked over to him.

"I went to da bar! Keith cheered, raising his hands in the air.

"Wha- why? I thought you hated people in general." The vampire put his hands on the drunken witch's shoulders.

"Fuck that shit. That doesn't mean I don't like to cget drunk." Keith expressed as he drank from a large beer bottle.

"Okay, let's get you some water." Lance took Keith's arm and wrapped it around his own neck. He began walking to the kitchen.

"You alre ja g-good husband." Keith snickered, leaning closer to Lance.

"H-husband?! W-I'm not your husband. You hate me now." Lance sighed as he placed the witch onto his chair and got a glass.

"No!"

"No?"

"I ulove you!" Keith rocked on the chair. (It isn't a rocking chair.)

"But I... hurt you." Lance filled the cup with water and turned around.

"You sang mde a songy. I love you!" Keith beamed as he almost fell over, Lance quickly catching him.

"T-that... you like it..?"

"Yes! You were the firstest person to sing tzo me. Not even Shiro would sing to me." Keith pouted as he stuck out his bottom lip.

"Mama would always sing to me when I was a child." Lance thought out loud as a shy smile grew on his face.

"You're smile is pretty." Keith awed, making Lance turn bright red.

"You know you are going to hate yourself in the morning for saying that, right?" Lance gave him a dry laugh, handing Keith the glass of water.

"I already hate myself," Keith said nonchalantly before he drank the water.

"So, uh, how can you drink water if you can't touch water?" Lance asked, attempting to change the subject.

"It's an external thing." The witch explained after he drank the entire cup.

"Okay, that's good." Lance nervously shuffled his feet.

"Don't be worrived, baby. I love you." Keith smiled at him.

"Mhm, I think it's time for bed." Lance walked over to him. Quickly, Keith jumped out of the chair and ran to the living room.

The vampire was stunned, cocking an eyebrow at Keith. The witch stuck out his tongue, playfully, in response. A smirk grew on Lance's face.

Immediately, he ran after him, human speed, of course. Keith kept running around, somehow never falling over by the books on the floor. Unlike Lance, tripping over almost all of them.

"Wow, I'm safter than a fucking vampire!" Keith placed his hands on his hips confidentially.

Right after, Lance jumped at the witch, pinning him down onto the floor. Keith was laughing, playfully trying to escape.

Lance froze in place, remembering what he did last time. Keith noticed that his "husband" was upset and frowned.

"Lance, forget what happened. Look at me." Keith said in a serious tone. The vampire obeyed.

"It wasn't your fault. It ewas mines. I shodul have foraced you sooner. I know you don't likae drinking blaood, bgut you nreed to. Remember that you are drinking mine, not killoing anybody."

"You're just saying that because you're drunk, Keith." Lance glared weakly at him.

"Nonononononono! In've bemen thinking about thvis for a logng stime!" Keith shouted. Lance slowly got off of the witch and sat on the floor next to him.

The drunk witch scooted closer, giving him several pecks on his cheek. Lance became even redder than before.

"Stop being sad," Keith said, finally satisfied with how many kisses he has given.

"As you wish." Lance smiled at his lover. Promptly, the witch gave him a quick kiss on the lips.

"Let's go to bed."

"O-okay."

They both stood up from the floor. Keith was still a bit tipsy, so he needed help walking. When they got there, Lance laid the witch onto the bed. Before he could get up, something grabbed onto his sleeve.

"Stay." Keith gave the vampire puppy dog eyes.

"Keith, I can't."

"I curse you if you don't."

"Fine."

Without taking any risks, he hopped into bed. Immediately, Keith wrapped his arms around Lance and pulled him close.

"So what? Am I your body pillow now?" Lance joked.

"Mhm." Keith hummed, already falling asleep. Lance rolled over to face the witch and snuggled close.

Shortly after, his eyes grew heavy, and he fell asleep.
