Lance woke up, surrounded by warmth. For some reason, something heavy was lying on top of the vampire. The vampire groggily opened his eyes, only to be met with raven black hair.

At first, Lance was perplexed as to what this was. It finally clicked in his brain, and heat spread across his face.

The vampire gently pushed some hair behind Keith's ear. In response, the witch groaned and nuzzled into Lance's chest.

A sigh of defeat escaped Lance's mouth as he rested his hands on top of the witch's lower back. Suddenly, Keith babbled indecipherable words in his sleep.

"Is it even legal to be this cute?" Lance asked himself as he started stroking his fingers through Keith's hair.

"...What..?" Keith groggily rubbed his eyes and yawned.

"You are so cute." Lance giggled, continuing to brush Keith's hair with his fingers.

"C-cute?! I-I'm not cute!" Keith pushed himself away from the vampire. His face was completely red from blushing so much.

"Whatever you say, mullet." Lance snickered as Keith got off of him. Shortly after, the vampire got off the bed too.

____

"Lance, you need to eat." Keith insisted as he held his arm out to the vampire.

"I already said. I'm not hungry!" Lance crossed his arms and looked away.

"I know you don't like it, but it's your only option." The witch kept on begging for Lance to drink his blood.

"Stop pressing on it and leave me alone!" The vampire started making his way to the exit.

"Don't walk through that door." Keith hissed. Lance held onto the door nob and looked back at him.

"Or what?" He growled, baring his fangs.

"Lance, you are acting like a child! Get over here or-!"

The vampire's eyes flashed red, causing Keith's face to relax immediately after. The witch's eyes also turned bright red, just like Lance's.

"...Keith..?" Lance slowly approached the witch.

There was no response from him, worrying the vampire. Lance waved his hand in front of Keith's face, but he didn't even blink. Then he grabbed the witch's shoulders and shook him frantically.

"Keith! What happened to you?! Please answer me!" Lance begged, tears trickling down his cheeks.

Incredible...

"W-what..?" Lance looked down at the cat, sitting on the floor.

Glamouring, you somehow activated your power already.

"But I didn't mean to! Can you help me undo... this!" Lance grabbed Keith's shoulders and quickly rotated him to face Kova.

Lance, only you can undo this.

"You don't even seem remotely like you're concerned in any way!" Lance shouted at Kova.

I'm a cat. It's not like I have the facial expressions as humans do. Also, I have to stay calm for you to remain calm.

"H-how do I fix him?" Lance sighed as he rested his head against Keith's chest.

Lance, only you can undo this.

"Why do you keep saying that?!"

Kova then walked away without another word, leaving Lance more confused than before.

"Okay, okay, I can do this. Here I go." Lance intensely stared right into Keith's red eyes.

"Any second now would be fucking fantastic." The vampire growled as he kept glaring at Keith.

Suddenly, Keith's eyes flashed into his customary purple. He fluttered his eyes and stumbled back. The witch quickly had a startled expression on his face.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to! I just looked at you, and then your eyes turned red! I think mine did too! I'm so so so so so sorry! But then you didn't move or anything, and Kova wasn't helping me! Then I-"

The witch slapped his hand over Lance's mouth to make him stop talking. He did just that, staring at Keith with a cocked brow.

"Stop talking. You're giving me a headache from all of your rambling."

Lance shouted something through Keith's hand. But it was muffled, so he couldn't understand a word he was saying.

"It's okay, except. Never. Do. That. Again." Keith glared at Lance, a rage-filled look in his eyes. The vampire frantically nodded yes before Keith removed his hand.

"...Wait! Oh my god! Am I a bad boyfriend?!"

"Nononono, you are an excellent boyfriend. It's good to tell me what I should and shouldn't do that makes you uncomfortable or something."

Lance awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck with a shy smile on his face. Keith gave the vampire a quick peck on his cheek to make him feel better.

"Good." Keith nodded his head as he walked into the kitchen.

____

Lance came out of the bedroom, finally cleaning the room. He even tied some stuff down so they wouldn't float around. The vampire spotted Keith sitting in the room.

There was a circle on the floor, created from salt. Six candles were lined up, perfectly symmetrical from each other.

Keith's eyes were closed, concentrating on what he was about to do. Lance curiously watched to see what would happen.

"Spirt to body, body to mind, as I chant, undo the bind. What now hold, my soul to me, with this spell, now set it free."

Suddenly, Keith collapsed, falling on his back, making a loud thud.

"Keith!" Lance ran over and held him in his arms.

The witch didn't respond to Lance's cries. He held his ear against Keith's chest. There was a heartbeat, but he wasn't breathing.

"Please, don't die!" Lance begged as he held Keith close to his heart.

Abruptly, Keith took a breath, his eyes wide in surprise.

"You're alive!" Lance cheered as he began kissing Keith's cheeks.

"Of course, I'm alive." Keith rolled his eyes as he pushed Lance away from his face.

"What happened?!" Lance's brows furrowed, annoyed by Keith's reaction.

"I just performed an astral projection spell," Keith answered bluntly.

"What is that?"

"It separates the spirit from the body. Or, in your terms, I became a ghost."

"Don't do that!" Lance cried, tears coming out of his eyes.

"Why?" Keith's face relaxed, still not understanding why Lance was upset.

"I thought you were going to die! I was so worried that you were going to leave me!"

"Lance, I will never leave you." Keith leaned in closer to the vampire and kissed his lips. Lance kissed back, happy that his boyfriend is still alive.
