"I'm back!" Keith announced as he entered the cottage. Lance took Kova out of his lap and walked over to the witch.
"Whatcha' get?" Lance asked as he followed Keith to the kitchen.
"Some herbs and mud, nothing special." Keith shrugged as he placed the jar of mud on the counter. An incredible idea popped in Lance's head, but he decided to do it later.
The witch placed some flowers that were tied up together. None of them were beautiful flowers, just small, simple flowers.
"Are those for me~?" Lance leaned over and fluttered his eyes at Keith.
"No, those are for a healing potion I'm going to be working on," Keith answered as he grabbed the flowers and dragged them away from Lance.
"Babe, you never get me anything!" Lance whined as he pressed his face against the wooden counter.
"Hmm, let me think. I gave you a home, free blood, a bed, and a lot of kisses." Keith gave Lance a quick peck on the lips.
"Hmpf." Lance huffed as he crossed his arms and looked away.
Keith took out some river water and poured it into the mini cauldron. Lance drew his attention back over to the jar of mud. Sneakily, the vampire reached over and twisted open the lid.
The witch took one of the batches of flowers. He clamped scissors gently over the flowers. Then Keith dragged it along the plants, ripping off the leaves and petals.
Once the petals landed in the water, the water already in the cauldron turned pink. A perfect opportunity came when Keith turned around to grab something else.
"Keith, can I show you something?" Lance smirked, prepared to fulfill his prank.
"Yeah, sure, what is-?"
The moment Keith faced Lance, the vampire moved his bangs and slid his finger across his forehead.
"Simba." Lance breathed as a smile grew on his face.
Quickly, Keith dripped his hand into the jar and pressed his hand against Lance's entire face.
"That's the best you've got?" Keith gave him a playful smirk as he took the jar out of Lance's hands.
"Nope!"
Lance scraped off some mud from his face and smeared some on the witch's cheek.
"Oh no, you don't!"
The witch stuck his entire hand inside the jar. He grabbed a handful and threw it at Lance. Luckily, the vampire dodged it and jumped at Keith. Lance sat on top of Keith, pinning him down on the floor.
Swiftly, Lance snatched the jar from Keith and grabbed a clump of it. He then spread it across the witch's eyes.
"Where did my boyfriend go? All I see is a raccoon." Lance snickered as Keith furrowed his brows.
Where did my boyfriend go? All I see is an asshole." Keith quipped as he pushed the vampire off.
Both of them burst into a fit of laughter on the floor. When they calmed down, they both noticed the mess all over the room.
"Not it!" Lance declared as he ran out of the kitchen.
"No fair! You started it!" Keith shouted as he ran after him.

"Holy hell! How are you doing that?!" Lance held his hands on his cheeks and made the home alone face.
"Doing what?" Keith asked, while his right hand was in flames. The fire was a blue color from the intense heat.
"You're hand is on fire!" Lance frantically pointed at it.
"Oh, that. I was testing my fire resistance. I'm working on a potion that will help me become fireproof for a certain amount of time." Keith explained nonchalantly.
"W-what? Why would you need to do that?!" Lance slowly walked closer to the witch.
"Eh, humans burn witches to kill them, I guess. I just want to be prepared for that." Keith shrugged, looking down at his feet.
"Oh, I'm sorry." Lance gently grabbed Keith's chin and turned his head. The vampire kissed him on the lips before letting go.
"Can I show you something?" Keith grinned, trying to change the subject.
"Uh, sure."
Quickly, Keith held his hand in between both of them. Lance flinched back, trying not to get burned. The witch blew out the fire from his hand, leaving toward Lance.
The vampire held his arms in front of his face, protecting himself from the fire. Because it was fire, it went out before it was even close to touching Lance.
"Scaredy cat." Keith snickered.
I'm right here.
Kova, the cat, jumped on top of the counter. A safe distance away from them. You could feel the glare radiating off of the cat.
"Whatever." Keith rolled his eyes, still smirking and snickering at Lance.
"You're mean!" Lance pouted.
"I know." Keith laughed as he lit his hand on fire again. This time he dipped it into the cauldron, letting the liquid absorb the fire.
