It has been a few months since they danced together. They have been inseparable ever since.

Lance has been drinking as little blood as possible, hardly ever drinking from Keith. Instead, he would hunt for rodents and drink their blood. Sadly, animals are not enough to fuel Lance.

"Lance, we need to talk." Keith stormed into the living room, tapping his foot on the ground impatiently. Nervousness filled all of Lance's thoughts as he stood up and walked over to him.

"Y-yeah?" Lance rubbed the back of his neck.

"You have been starving yourself." Keith stepped closer to the vampire, pressing his finger at Lance's chest.

"Oh, thank god." Lance breathed, sure that Keith was going to break up with him.

"What? Er-I'm not an idiot. I know when you are hurting. I should have talked to you about this sooner." Keith sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose.

"No, it's fine. I'm fine!" Lance waved his hand dismissively at the witch.

"Stop lying to me, Lance!" Keith lashed out. Rage filled his eyes.

The sudden surge of blood full thirst fulled Lance's senses. All he could smell was blood. He could hear Keith's heart pumping. His eyes faded into a glowing red, and his eyes trailed to the witch's neck.

"Getaway," Lance grumbled as he tried to hold himself back.

"Lance, I'm not leaving you until we fix this," Keith said as he cupped Lance's face in his hands.

With a blink of an eye, Lance launched himself at his lover. Keith was squirming and screaming, trying to get away. The vampire sunk his fangs deep into his throat.

Keith tried to struggle against Lance's grip, but his efforts were useless. It felt like Lance was only sitting in the passenger seat while someone was operating his body.

Eventually, the witch stopped moving, and Lance pulled away. Tears were pouring out of the vampire's eyes as he held him close.

"K-Keith! Please wake up!" Lance cried. He ripped off his sleeve and held it against Keith's wound.

Suddenly, a large dark puff of smoke appeared at the front door. A man with a black hood covering his face stepped out from the thick mist.

Without thinking, Lance carefully placed Keith on the floor and ran over to the stranger.

"Help! Please help! I-I don't know how this happened! It's my fault, but I don't care just do- please do something!" Lance begged as he was falling to his knees in defeat.

"You know the nice thing about your kind? I can kill you as many times as I want, and you would keep coming back for more."

The stranger wrapped his hands around Lance's throat, strangling him. The vampire tried breaking free, but he was quickly losing air. Black circles filled his vision until he collapsed.

The stranger dropped the vampire on the ground and walked over to Keith's unconscious body. He took out a bottle filled with a healing potion and drained it down Keith's mouth.

"Elements of sun, elements of the day. Please come this way—powers on night and day. I summon thee, I call upon thee, to protect thee, so mote it be!"

Keith's eyes quickly shot open, but something wasn't right. His eyes were completely black. The witch slowly looked around with a blank expression on his face.

His eyes trailed to Lance's unconscious body, a sinister smirk grew onto Keith's lips. He began sitting up, but the stranger pressed his hand down against Keith's chest, keeping him down. Then the witch's eyes faded back to what it originally was.
