"Lance, would you like to learn some witchcraft?" Keith asked from the kitchen while Lance was sitting on the couch, petting Kova.

"Sure." Lance got off the couch and joined Keith in the kitchen.

"What're we making?" Lance asked as he picked up one of the bottles already on the counter.

"Blood replenishing potion. That's what we're making." Keith smiled at the vampire.

"Really?" Lance furrowed his brows at him.

"Trust me, this is useful—Especially in your case," Keith mumbled the last part.

"Whatever, so how do we begin?" Lance asked, changing the subject.

Okay, pour in some honey water into the cauldron."

Keith pointed at the bottle. Lance did precisely that, maybe adding a little too much.

"Two valerian roots."

Lance grabbed the valerian and ripped the roots from it. Then he threw it in the cauldron.

"Five nettle leaves and five dittany leaves."

The vampire only eyeballed it, never bothering to count the leaves. He threw it in. The leaves slowly fluttered in it, delicately landing in the liquid.

"One rose."

"For me?" Lance fluttered his eyes at Keith, hoping he would say yes.

"No, now are you making this or not?" Keith glared at him. The vampire rolled his eyes and cut the rose off of the stem, and dropped it in.

"Two boiled red beets."

"Do I have to boil them?" Lance whined as he looked up at the witch.

"No, I was nice enough to boil them for you." Keith grinned at him playfully.

"Four drops of spiderweb extract."

Lance grabbed the small container and was about to pour it in.

"WAIT!" Keith jumped off of the counter and took the container from Lance.

"What?"

"Be careful. Here use this instead of mindlessly dumping it all in." Keith handed him a pipette.

"Okay, mom." Lance groaned as he took it from Keith. He sucked in the spiderweb extract and dripped it in the cauldron. The vampire did that four more times before Keith stopped him.

"Meh,"

"What do you mean?!"

"You can't just add stuff without counting. You need to be careful with witchcraft." Keith placed his hands on his hips.

"Keith, why do you love me? All I do is mess up." Lance looked down at the floor in shame.

"What are you talking about?" Keith held Lance's chin, forcing him to look into his eyes.

"All I do is mess up. I can't do anything right."

"Lance, I am so proud of you. You try hard with everything that you do. Remember when you turned into a bat? I never told you that it takes years to be able to do that. What about when you used glamouring on me? Again, it takes years to do that. You have such an open heart, and you care about everyone so much. The dragon that I put to sleep, I was genuinely shocked by how much you sympathized with the dragon."

"You said that-"

"I know what I said. You taught me otherwise. You also care about people a lot. You were crying about how much you miss your family. I never felt that way about anyone before, but I would do the same ever since I met you. Lance, I love you so much. I would give you the world and so much more."

Lance was speechless, having no idea how to respond. Tears were forming in Keith's eyes, upset that Lance would think that he only messes up.

"...K-Keith, I-"

"You don't need to say anything. It's alright. Everything will be alright, yeah?"

"Yeah," Lance nodded with a sad smile on his face. The vampire leaned in for a kiss, but Keith avoided it.

"I can't touch the water." Keith laughed nervously.

Lance rolled his eyes and wiped the tears off of his face. Immediately, the witch jumped on Lance, making him stumble back. The vampire caught his balance and kissed back.

His lips mashed against Keith's, passionately sucking on the other's lips. Lance's hands moved all around the witch's form, squeezing his sides. Keith held his hands around the vampire's neck.

No man could break Their loving embrace. The heat between them could burn a forest. Their passion could make hundreds of paintings.

"I love you too, Keith."
