I got a text and from Amelia to meet her at her mom's book shop so I took an Uber, when I got there I go inside I had my jaw dropped of the sight
"hey Jamie you like it" Amelia ask walking towards me
"are you kidding me this is amazing Iove books and I used to work for a writing company in New York" I said
"well lucky for you my mom owns it c'mon come meet her she's upstairs" she says leading me
When we got upstairs I saw a raven haired middle age woman
"hey mom....this is Jamie Lyric" Amelia says kissing her mom's cheek
"hello Mrs. Brown" I waved awkward
"oh please your friends with daughter call me Kat"

I went downstairs and do exactly what she told me, a few minutes later there was a problem I can't reach the shelf so I tried to reach for it but I cant so,'small girl problems' suddenly somebody boosts me up to the same height of the shelf, I put the book there and the person who lifted me up put me back down I turn around and saw a boy with blonde hair and green eyes which towered over me because he was tall AF and me being me I'm freaking 5 feet in height
"thanks" I said while putting my phone down on a counter beside me
"your welcome" he said doing the same thing as me
"I'm sorry for lifting my ass to reach that" I say
"it's ok I notice you were struggling" he says
"Yo Lyric let's go" I heard Amelia say which cause me to pick up my phone and said good bye to the boy and ran to amelia
