Me and Amelia went to lunch at some restaurant downtown which was great, we chatted about the guy I saw earlier at her mom's book shop
"is he cute?"Amelia ask
"yeah I think his cute......and his accent was just...ugh"i said and Amelia laugh
"did you get his name?, phone
number?anything?"
"no but I saw his face really closely.....not in a creepy way"
"well that's nice"
A phone rung inside my bag which is weird because that's not my ringtone
"is that yours?" Amelia said while I take the phone I've never seen in my entire life the caller ID says 'mom' so I decided to answer
"Reece honey can you buy some eggs for breakfast tomorrow please" a voice said in the phone
"hello? I'm sorry but this isn't Reece...."i apologize
" then who is this then? "
" I'm Jamie"
"well Jamie can you tell Reece that then?"
"yeah of course" I said and I hung up
"what are you doing?" Amelia asks
"this isn't my phone....."i said slowly and realizing what just happened to me" oh my God! Lia this isn't my phone because-"she cuts me off
"becsuse you took the wrong phone at the book shop!"
"which means...." I dragged "which means my phone got lost.."
"or the guy at the book shop took it with him" Amelia finished and I look at her worried
"oh shit!" me and Lia said at the same time
Reece's pov
"Yo Lyric let's go" I hear a voice said to the girl in front me causing her to pick her phone up and saying goodbye to me and running to her friend and leaving
"hey Reece found the book that your sister was telling you about earlier?" Blake asks walking up behind me with George and Mia
"no...sorry I helped a girl earlier" I said
"a girl?" Mia ask
"yeah with brown hair with hazel eyes.....pretty"i said
"aw....do you know her name?phone number?anything?" George said
"no but I did see her face" I joked and they laugh
"well-"Blake got cut off when a phone rung I look at the counter that I put my phone earlier but I only saw a different one than mine
" is that yours? "Blake asks and I just grabbed it and I saw the caller ID kells❤️ and I decided to answer it and put it on speaker for all of us to hear
"hey jam can you bring me back a snack when you get back?"
"hello?"
"Jamie what the hell happend to your voice?.... Why the hell do you sound like a boy"
"because I am a boy"
"did my sister got a boyfriend already.....man I didn't know she had it in her to ask out a guy"
"no I'm not your sisters boyfriend or anything"
"don't tell me you kidnapped her and killed her!"
"no! She just left her phone here"
"well I'm gonna call back then tell her Kelly called" with that the person hung up
"who the hell is Jamie?" Mia ask
"I don't know but she has my phone with her" I panick
"what are we gonna do!?" George says
"we have to look at her phone closely first and then hopefully we found something" Blake suggested and we all nodded
Jamie's pov
Me and Lia planned out what are we gonna do with the phone and we decided to snoop a little bit, after we did that we parted ways and I decided to go home
"dude you didn't pick up your phone when I called you again" Kelly said while I was going in the apartment
"what do you mean?" I ask
"I called you at lunch but some guy answered so I told him I call you later"as Kelly says that I pulled her to my room
"Kelly you have to tell me who answered the phone" I said
"uhh a guy with a British accent but I don't know his name" she says and I froze 'the guy from the book shop has my phone'
"what's wrong?" kelly asks
"I have to tell you something but you have to promise me don't tell mom and dad" I said and she nodded, I told her everything and i mean everything and she looked at me shocked and full of questions
"do you guys know who's is it?"
"I don't know....but his mom called and I think his name is Reece" I said and she just nodded
"please don't snoop around on my phone" I prayed in my mind
Reece's pov
I got home with the book lexi told me about and decided to give it to her, dad says she was with mom in the kitchen
"Reece where are the eggs I ask for" my mom said to me and I just looked at her confused
"I called but some girl answered and she told me that she will deliver the message"
"wait a minute a girl answered.....whats her name?" I ask
"Jamie...i think why?"
"nothing...lexi here's the book you ask for I'm gonna give you it but you have to come with me first" I said and she nodded and followed me to my bedroom
"what up Reece? And can I have my book please"
"not yet and I will but I have to tell something that you will have to promise me you don't tell mum or dad about this" I said she just nodded
So I told her everything and she asks me questions that I don't know the answer too
"don't you know anything?"
"no....just that I know her name Jamie" I said and she nodded
"please don't snoop around on my phone" I prayed in my mind
