Chapter 4: Bro Time

Before I prepped for Friday night, I needed to chill out with my bros, Luigi, Sonic, and Link.

I was just going to have a night where I relaxed with my friends. We would play video games, drink soda, eat candy, and overall have fun.

In Link's room, there was a 45" flat screen TV, a wall with tons of games, and a table with all kinds of junk food on it. Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Twizzlers, Airheads, Starbursts, and all kinds of other sweets.

"Ah, it's nice to just chillax with you guys." said Sonic.

"It's been forever since we've gotten together like this." Luigi said, eating an Airhead.

"That's true. Wasn't it sometime last fall?" I said, pouring Mountain Dew into a glass.

"I think it was actually just before last Christmas." Link stated.

"Never mind when it was, let's get some gaming in!" Luigi said.

We all agreed and started playing a video game.

The supply of the food and drinks on the table began to decrease after a few hours.

Since we had the day off from school tomorrow because of a staff day, I called my mom and asked if I could sleep over. She said yes. Luigi and Sonic were able to sleep over too.

At about 11, we took a little break from games and we're going to talk about some stuff.

"So, did you ask out you-know-who?" Link whispered to me.

"I sure did."

"Hold on a minute. Is 'you-know-who' who I think it is?" Luigi asked.

I brushed by fingers across my right eye, signaling Luigi that it was Rosalina, and that represented her hair.

Luigi nodded.

Sonic asked, "Who are you talking about?"

I said, "Do you know that girl Rosalina? Blonde hair, wears light blue a lot, really good looking?"

"Oh, yeah. Nice."

"Enough about that. Let's get back to our games." said Link.

We played a new game that was just a whole bunch of minigames and challenge modes.

It said that we needed to side with another, making two teams with two people on each.

I, of course, sided with Link, as he helped me out tremendously today.

The game was really fun. There were all sorts of minigames, ranging from Super Smash Bros.-type ones to Mario Kart-type ones.

I looked over at the clock and it read 2:45am.

"Oh, guys, it's almost 3. We should go to sleep soon." I said.

They agreed and we turned off the TV.

"That was a lot of fun." Sonic said, pulling a pillow and blanket from his bag.

"It sure was." Luigi yawned.

I lied down to go to sleep, but unable to shut down my brain. There was one reason.

It was very early Thursday morning. I had a date on Friday night. I haven't even started preparing for it yet.

Bro! One more night until the big date! He hasn't even begun to prepare. Just something I'd like to tell you is we hit 100 reads already! I can't believe it. I'll try to get Chapter 5 up by tomorrow.
