Chapter 6: Unprepared

Oh no. I have 42 minutes before I have to pick up Rosalina. I haven't even gotten ready.

Let's see, I could get ready, buy something for her, and then pick her up.

I rushed upstairs to see if I could find something to wear.

I dug through my clothes and found a pure white shirt with buttons all up the chest.

When I put it on, it seemed to fit. I buttoned it up and it fit perfectly.

I dug a bit deeper. Finally, I found a pair of pair of black pants.

When I put them on, they seemed to fit as well.

Then I slipped on a pair of black socks and my black leather shoes.

I spiked my hair up with a little bit of gel, and I was ready.

My neighbor, Zelda, is one of Rosalina's friends.

She might know what kind of flower Rosalina likes best.

I walked over to her house and knocked on the door three times.

Zelda opened the door. "Hi. What do you need?"

"Um, do you know what Rosalina's favorite flower is?" I asked.

"Oh, yeah, she told me you're going out tonight. Well, she likes tulips."

A very colorful bouquet of tulips. Easy enough.

"Ok thanks!" I said.

I trotted back to my house.

My mom was in the living room doing laundry when I got back.

"Ooh, why are you all dressed up?"

"Well, that girl I thought likes me..."

My mom, of course, flipped out.

Going on and on about how "her baby is going on a date" and how "I'm growing up too fast."

"Can you drive me?" I asked.

She said ok.

"I need to stop by the store to buy something."

We got in her car, and she drove me to the store.

When I went in the store, I went straight to where all the flowers were.

Gladly, one of the first bouquets that caught my eye was a bouquet of tulips.

I pulled out a $20 bill and paid for the flowers.

When I got back in the car, I told Mom Rosalina's address.

She drove me to Rosalina's house, and then drove back home.

When I stepped up to the door, there was a note.

"If you want her, come and get her. -Waluigi"
