Chapter 5: Rosalina's Friday Afternoon

The first person narration will be Rosalina.

"See you tonight!" Ethan said.

"Ok! See you then!" I replied.

He stepped off the bus, and I thought about tonight. This was going to be my first date ever. I couldn't mess it up in anyway. For once, someone really likes me.

I needed to buy a dress, because I didn't have anything to wear tonight.

I saw Ethan's friend, Luigi, in the seat in front of me.

I tapped his shoulder to get his attention.

"Luigi, right?" I asked.

"Uh, yeah." he replied.

"I have a date with Ethan tonight. What might he want, like a gift?"

"Well, he really wants the new Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. He's been talking about for weeks. Get him that, and he'll love you forever."

I looked out and saw it was my stop.

"Thanks, Luigi."

I picked up my backpack, and stepped off the bus.

"Hey, dad? Can you take me to the store? I gotta buy something." I asked.

"Sure. How much money do you need?"

"$60." I replied.

"Seems a little expensive. What is it?"

"It's a game for my...friend."

"Ok." My dad said, pulling out the money.

He took me to the regular grocery store.

I saw one copy of Super Smash Bros. left.

I walked over to get it from the shelf.

When I put my hand on the case, another person did the same.

I looked up and it was a short guy with thick glasses and a bad complexion.

"It's mine!" I said, pulling on the case.

"No, I need it more!" the man said, not putting up much of a fight.

"But it's for my boyfriend!"

Did I just say that? Did I just say 'boyfriend'?

"I don't care about your stupid boyfriend!"

A feeling of anger rushed through me. Knowing he couldn't fight back, I kicked him in the shin.

But he did fight back. I felt a weak hit on my left arm.

Feeling embarrassed, the guy ran away, and the game was mine.

My dad took me home, and I put the game in a gift bag.

I went upstairs to my room, and when I opened my closet, I saw a red dress. Perfect for tonight!

I was going to get ready for tonight. I put on a little bit of makeup.

When I had everything done, all I needed to do was get dressed.

I changed out of my casual jeans and a t-shirt and put on the long red dress.

It fit perfectly, just like Cinderella's glass slipper.

Once I looked at the clock, it was 6:38. The date was scheduled for 7. I needed to hurry up.

I tied my hair up, and while walking down the stairs, there was a knock at the door.

It is almost that time! I am SO sorry for being late on this chapter. I just recently got a Wii U, and have been playing Super Mario 3D World like it's my job. Anyway, will DEFINITELY get future chapters up sooner. Anyways, as always, this is MasterTrainer96, and I'll see you in the next chapter.
