Chapter 8: Working Together

Alright. Back to Ethan's point of view. It will stay like that for the rest of the story.

I had no idea what to do. My crush was kidnapped by my rival. The only thing I knew I had to do was get her to safety. How would I do that?

Maybe if I got a group of my friends to go out on an expedition. It was definitely a long shot, but it just might work.

Ok, let's see, who would I need in my group? I definitely want Link, Sonic, and Luigi. But I need at least one or two more.

I pondered on this for a few minutes until I had the perfect idea.

My friends since 3rd grade.

Chris Koopa and DJ Goomba.

If they all agreed, then the Stop Waluigi plan would be in play.

I pulled out my phone and saw Rosalina on Recents. That made me a bit sad.

But then when I looked at my contact list, I got all 6 in a row.

Of course, my three best friends agreed.

Now to see if Chris and DJ Goomba would agree.

Considering Chris lived just down the street, I wouldn't need to call him.

I walked over to his house and rang the door.

When he opened the door, he greeted with a simple "Hey, man, what's up?'

I sighed. "Rosalina's been kidnapped by Waluigi."

"Oh no! What are you going to do?" Chris asked.

"I thought maybe you could help me save her."

"Sure! Anything for my bro."

Awesome, I thought, now I just need DJ Goomba.

I had four other people with me as I headed over to his house.

I knocked on his door. When he opened, he greeted us all.

"So, we have a problem, and might need your help."

"What do you need?" DJ Goomba asked.

"His girlfriend got kidnapped!" Chris yelled out.

"She's not my...girlfriend..." I blushed.

"Wait...aren't you supposed to be going out with Rosalina tonight?" DJ Goomba asked.

"Was...I was supposed to." I muttered.

"You know what? I'm in."

"You are?" I said.

DJ Goomba nodded.

I had a six person team up against Waluigi. He had no chance.

"All right everybody. Go get whatever you need to fight." I said. "Meet up in front of my house."

I needed to go back to my house and change clothes.

When I got there, I climbed up to my room and through the window so my mom wouldn't see me.

When I got in, I unbuttoned my shirt and put on an Under Armour shirt and slipped into different pants.

Lastly, I grabbed my bow and arrows before climbing back down.

When I got in front of my house, I saw the other five standing there, just as determined as I was.

Smirking, I said, "Now. Let's go save Rosalina."

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't talked to you in a while. But, I am very happy. Just this morning I hit 200 reads. By now, I'm at close to 250. I am in awe at how much support I'm getting. Thanks so much.
