NEW YEAR'S KISS • MINGHAO

we all sat around the tv, watching the performances from various western artist. my personal favorite, machine gun kelly.

as i gushed over the fact that 2021 was only a few minutes away!

i looked over at my boyfriend, myunghao, who just sat quietly drinking his wine. i smiled at how handsome he was. i was happy that we were going into the new year strong.

i got up from my seat and sat next to him. he smiled at me and placed his hand on my thigh, rubbing slight circles.

"happy almost new year, y/n," he quietly whispered in my ear.

"happy almost new year, hao." i gave him a quick side hug, turning my attention to the tv.

"yo! only 30 seconds till the ball drops!" mingyu shouted from the kitchen.

the rest of us quickly gathered around the tv, excited to leave this trash year behind.

"i wanted to tell you how much i love you and that you for making this year the best." hao placed his hand on my waist, pulling me closer.

"i love you too, baby. you've made this year manageable." i chuckled slightly. "i'm happy we made it together."

as our friends slowly counted down the seconds, i trained my eyes in hao's. he looked down at my lips before looking back up at my eyes.

3..2..1! "HAPPY NEW YEAR!!"

i pulled him in by his neck, pressing our lips together. our lips moved in sync as our friends around us cheered and sang out, "2021 bitches!!"

we pulled away and looked at each other again, a blush creeping up my face.

"happy new year, y/n."

SHUT UP! i'm in my feels because of how much fluff i just wrote😭.
