#18. "just kiss me already."

we sat in the quietness of my bedroom, the awkward tension overtaking us to the point where i couldn't take it anymore.

"so, win, are you still having trouble with the homework?" i asked my study buddy, win.

he looked up at me shyly, as if he was trying to pick out the correct words to say to me. "uhm, yeah kinda. number 10 is acting like an ass."

i slightly chuckled at his words, "here, lemme help." i pulled him and his workbook closer to me.

our shoulders brushing against each other.

i could feel him tense up but i didn't say anything.

i explained to him how to properly work out the problem and he seemed engaged. i looked up at him to see him staring back at me.

"oh. i'm sorry, i didn't mean to stare," he flustered and rubbed the back of his neck. "you're just so, uhm. you're beautiful."

it was my turn to blush. i scratched my temple as i looked down, "t-thank you, win."

he grabbed my chin gently and made me look at him. "of course." i could see him look down at my lips.

"can i, uhm, can i-"

"just kiss me already, win."
