Maisie's pov
I rolled over with my head pounding. I pry my eyes open to see the bright summer light that shone through the half closed curtain. The bed is suprisingly comfortable.
The sheets next to me shifted. I smiled when I realized James is next to me. It's been a while since I last woke up to him beside me. Mornings in bed with James has always been my favorite time of the day and I missed it so much.
I studied his face silently. His features softened and body relax, just like the James that I first met long ago. He was absolutely beautiful. I ran my fingers through his brown hair. The gentle breaths going in and out of his soft lips.
The event of last night rushed into my head and I suddenly remember what happened. I slowly lifted the blanket and blinked at the sight of our naked bodies together. I've been longing for his touch and to feel it again last night made me smile. His touch, so soft and always full of care. I found myself wishing that we could lay in bed all day and just forget about what happened in the past months, all the fights and sorrows.
I touched my lips and thought about last night's event.
He brought his lips to mine and deepening the kiss. I moaned as he started to lower down to kiss my neck and my breasts. "God, I miss this," he mumbled.
He massaged my breasts with both his hands. I moaned, wanting more, wanting him. I want more of him.
"James, please."
"I know baby, I know," he grunted.
And then our skin was slamming together, my moans slipping through my lips effortlessly.
"Mm, feels good Maisie. You feel so good." He was nearing his high as he went faster into me, his thrusts getting sloppier.
"Morning." James' raspy voice brought me back to reality.
"Hey, morning." I beamed at him.
"I wonder how the hell did I survive the past months without touching you like last night?" he said as he pull on his underwear.
"Do we really need to get out of bed now?" I groaned. "Let's stay a little longer."
James only chuckled before grabbing my cardigan off the floor and handed it to me.
"Thanks," I said, putting on the cardigan but with nothing else inside. I stood up from the bed. My cardigan unbuttoned making my cleavage showing off nicely to James' wandering eyes.
"My flight is at night so we still have the day for ourselves. Let's eat outside," said James.
"Wait, you're still going?" I asked, confused.
"Yes sweetheart. I did tell you I have to check on the old cabin. But I have a change of plan."
I hummed. "What change of plan?"
His eyes never leaving my breasts as they played hide and seek between my cardigan. He answered, "I won't be staying there for the whole summer. Maybe just a week or two. I'll be back before the break is over so we could spend some time together."
"I think that's fine. I can manage," my voice sounded sultry. "Done checking me out?" I smirked a little.
James cocked one eyebrow and took a step closer to me. "No, I'm not done yet."
His left arm slid around my waist and he pulled me against him, pressing his lips against my cheek, nose, then my lips.
He said, "I think breakfast can wait."
