"Do you really have to go?" you asked throwing yourself onto the couch in living room of your small home. You lived a small town in rhode island with your best friend, C/N. 

"Yes, i do. And maybe one day you can come join me out there," he replied sitting next to you. 

"You know i dont wanna move to la."

"And you know i want this job. Ill definitely be back to visit next christmas."

"Thats a whole year away C/N! Christmas was 5 days ago!"

"I know, but we can call everyday."

"I have one other friend. One! And youre gonna leave me here all alone forever!"

"Y/N stop, its not like im moving to Slovakia, changing my identity, and starting a new life. Ive wanted this job for as long as i can remember."

"Yes i know, but what if something happens."

"Nothing going to happen to me. You just over think everything."

"I dont want to you t-"

"Stop. I dont wanna fight, and i have to finish packing," he went into his room. You sighed then went to yours. You pulled a pre-rolled out of your drawer and lit it up. 

-January 2nd-

"Im gonna miss you," you whispered, hugging C/N and burying your face in his neck. 

"Dont get all emotional with me. Ill call you right after i land, okay?" he said then pulled away. 

"Okay. And also when you get to the apartment. Or if you need anything, at all."

"I will," he laughed

"Im serious, C/N. I want to know that your safe."

"Y/N ive been keeping you out of trouble since middle school, i think i should be more worried about leaving you alone."

"Whatever. Now youre gonna miss your flight if i dont leave now, and im not trying to convice you to stay yet. So you should probably get going."

"Okay, im leaving. But just promise me you'll call and hang out with BSF/N sometimes instead of being alone everyday."

"Yes, i will."

"Thank you."

"Wait actually maybe you could st-"

"Goodbye Y/N."

"Fine, just one more hug," you said and he pulled you in. Then he walked into the airport. You stepped back into your car and drove back home. Once you stepped inside you called BSF/N.

"Hello?" she answered. 

"Hey! Its Y/N!"

"Hey! Whats up?"

"Not much, are you doing anything around one?"

"I dont think so, why?"

"Wanna come over for a bit?"

"Yeah! Thatd be fun!"

"Okay cool! See you then!"

"See you!" She hung up and you still had a while until shed get there so you decided to tidy up a bit.

The time finally came around and there was a knock on the door. 

"Oh my god thanks for inviting me over, its been forever!" BSF/N exclaimed and hugged you as she stepped in the door.
