You set your phone down after checking the time, starting to get ready. You moved to the city about two months ago, your friend BSF/N was coming tomorrow to move in also. Coworkers made plans to get drinks and get to know eachother. Once you were ready you went to the parking garage hopping in your car. You drove to the small bar parking out front before walking in. After a few hours of chatting your coworkers decided to leave. It was around eleven o'clock and you stayed for one more drink. 

"This seat taken?" a guy around your age motioned to the stool next you.

"Nope, all yours," you smiled as he nodded then sat down. He ordered a drink before turning to you again.

"Thanks... for letting me sit."

"Yeah of course! Im Y/N."

"C/N."

"Im sorry you look really familiar, have we met?"

"I doubt it, i just moved for from rhode island."

"Oh my god me too!" The bartender set down his drink. The two of you studied eachothers faces.

"Wait you said your name was Y/N, right?" you nodded, "Holy shit. Y/N Y/LN?"

"Yeah! and youre... C/N C/LN! I havent seen you in years!" you hugged.

"Thats so funny we both just moved here."

"When did you get here?"

"About two months ago. How about you?"

"Only two weeks."

"What a coincidence you came to this bar."

"Yeah really is." You continued to chat with him for a hour or two. It turned out he was living in the same apartment building as you so you gave him a ride rather then him paying for an uber. 

"Ill see you around Y/N," C/N smiled as he stepped of the elevator. The doors shut and it brought you to your floor. Once you got to your apartment you texted BSF/N to call you.

"Whats up?"

"Oh im surprised youre awake," you laughed sitting on your couch.

"I just finished loading up my car, I was about to head to bed."

"Okay well i just got back from the bar. I met up with those coworkers."

"Right."

"I stayed for another drink after they left and youll never guess who sat next to me."

"Ryan Reynolds!"

"No i wish. Even more shocking. C/N fucking C/LN."

"No way! The dude you were friends with that we went to school with?"

"Yeah! He just moved here too. And! He lives three floors down from us."

"Youre fucking joking."

"Nope."

"Holy shit thats amazing. Did you get his number?"

"Damn i didnt think to. I probably still have his old one, maybe its the same."

"We'll have to make plans with him. You guys used to be good friends."

"Yeah ill try to text him eventually. I guess ill let you go. You got a long drive when you wake up."

"Yeah of course, ill call you when i wake up and leave."

"Okay, bye bye."

"Bye," she hung up. You get ready and then went to bed.
