It was a friday night and you were watching a movie when you got a text. It was a guy you used to be friends with in high school. You havent talked to him since graduation, what was he contacting you for?

'Hey wanna get a drink? Meet at *bar* in a hour?'

'sure im down'  Weird. You quickly got ready then called an uber. 

"Y/N, hey!" he waved you over.

"C/N! Hi! Hows it been?" you sat next to him, "Its been a while."

"Yeah it really has, ive been good. How 'bout you?"

"Pretty good! Hows it going with Savanah?"

"Oh. Thats actually why i wanted to meet with you, didnt think youd bring her up right away. We broke up."

"Oh my god seriously? You started dating begining of senior year. thats, what, like four years?"

"Yeah.. we were together almost five years."

"Im sorry, do you wanna talk about it?"

"Well i wanted to ask you something," he looked forward as the bartender walked over. You ordered drinks and a round of shots. they were quickly poured and handed to you. C/N tapped his small glass to yours and you downed them.

"Okay, what do you wanna ask me?"

"In high school, when me and savanah first got together, she was always jealous of you. you know that?"

"Me? Why would she be jealous of me?"

"I dont know exactly, but i want you to do it again."

"Do it again? How so? You said you broke up."

He downed the rest of his drink and turned his whole body towards you, "I want you to pretend to be my new girlfriend."

"What?"

"Like fake dating, it could work. We make her jealous and i get her back."

"I dont know C/N. Is that really smart? Whyd you break up?"

"She wouldnt tell me her reason.. but come on Y/N, please?"

"It doesnt really sound like a good idea."

"Y/N please, at least think about it. Theres places, things we used to do things together. Ive run into her a few times. Now imagine she see me with you. We could post on instagram and stuff to, she still follows both of us."

You sigh taking a sip and swirling the glass, "Fine," you looked up at him and he smiled, "But whats in it for me?"

"Um, i didnt really think about that. But i can help you with anything, really anything you need."

"Im just kidding i dont need anything. I have nothing better to do with my life. I wake up, go to work, go home, and repeat. Then occasionally go out on saturdays. Seems fun i guess."

"Oh my god thank you. First date tomorrow morning, that work for you?"

"Yeah, where at?"

"Starbucks on mainstreet?"

"Okay perfect. But before we start this, i think we should set some rules. Boundries."

"Whatever you want. Go on.'

"Are we gonna like constantly be pretending, like while we're out, or only online and when we know shes around."

"Definately when shes around and on my instagram. But your instagram account you dont have to post anything, and if we know shes not around we dont have to do anything youre not comfortable with. If you ever feel like im being to much, pushy, or you just right out wanna stop. Tell me."
