The next morning, Alexis woke up around seven a.m., and she panicked a little when she realized she was alone. She was still in Larry's house, but he was nowhere to be seen. She sat up slowly, ridding her mind and her body of sleep so she could think correctly. She yawned loudly, allowing her body to slump as she leaned against the headboard. She held on to her last few minutes of sleep before she tried to move, ultimately regretting it after.

Damn, I'm sore as hell.

Just to be sure of herself, she slipped her hand between her thighs, touching her pussy a little bit before she jumped. It wasn't too bad, but she was definitely aching, and her legs were still a little weak.

That wasn't a dream... 

She then looked down at her body, smiling when she realized she was dressed in one of his t-shirts. It was a black T-shirt with a Versace symbol smack in the middle of it. She would've thanked him for it, had she known where the hell he was. She figured it would be best to look for him, though. She threw her legs over the bed slowly, standing to her feet as she stretched her arms out. She walked towards his door, humming a tune blandly as she warmed her voice up; she refused to sound like a man in front of him. She laughed at the thought, knowing he probably wouldn't care anyway.

When she opened the door, the cool air hit her harder than she thought it would, causing her to bring her palms to her arms.

"It's freezing in here," she whispered. "Where the hell is this nigga at?"

She carried on with her search, coming across Pepper when she made it to the living room. Pepper jumped on her, kissing and lapping at her face as Alexis tried to calm her down.

"Shhh," Alexis giggled, bending down to pet the dog. "Yes, I know. I know, come here pretty girl. What's your name?"

She looked at the tag around her neck, mouthing the word "Pepper" with her lips. "That's so cute. Hi, Pepper."

She placed a kiss on the dogs snout before she paused, hearing talking coming from one of the rooms down the hall. It sounded like Larry's voice, and although she couldn't make out what he was saying, she wanted to check on him anyway. She hurriedly made her way towards the sound, practically tiptoeing through the hall because her steps were pretty loud. She pressed her ear against the door, frowning when she heard the anger behind his tone.

"I never said I wanted you to do that," Larry snapped. "I specifically said, "Jordan, make sure this line is finished and released by December 15th"...not November 30th! None of the designs I wanted are even up there, and it looks horrible. Who is going to want to sport this shit? Look at it."

She then heard clicking noises, like he was using a computer, and he was scoffing at whatever he was seeing. "So... nobody is going to answer? Nobody is going to tell me why none of the shit I asked for was taken into consideration? Or are you just gonna' look at me like I have five fucking heads?"

"You don't have to be so angry about it," someone said. "We can take it down and fix it then put it out when you want to."

Alexis heard Larry suck in a deep breath, her eyes widening as she developed secondhand embarrassment for whoever he was mad at.

"Why the FUCK was it put out on November 30th if it wasn't ready? I wouldn't be so angry if the clothes actually looked good and they had the detail and the designs I wanted them to have. That's why I'm fucking angry, Jordan, and you got the game fucked up if you think you're about to keep working with me after this shit. I've been telling you guys this since January. Fucking January. There is no reason that all of the notes we have, all of the little corrections and tweaks, is not...executed in these clothes. I'm not selling this shit to my people, I'm not. I want this entire line down by fucking midnight, and we are going to fix it and release it again whenever it's ready. And I don't even know when that is anymore."
