Chapter 4

   Conan and Shinichi are 15, which Ran and Kaito are 16. At that peaceful day. Shinichi and Ran is having a date in tropical land. At the same day, Kaito asked Conan to go to amusement park with him, but then shockingly, for the first time Conan said he is busy. Thus, Kaito is determined to see what Conan is doing. What's the most shocking thing is, when he follows Conan, he saw Conan changing his shirt and disguise as a girl. Since Kudo Ken'ichi is 10cm shorter than Kudo Shinichi and his hair is long like a girl, his disguised is hard to distinguish.

   Kaito slowly followed Kenichi to tropical land, Kaito who's sure that he is in love with Conan, feel the urge to know who's Conan meeting today. However, Conan doesn't meet anyone, but then he sees Conan talk to a girl, before the girl and hug her, Kaito wants to shove the girl away but then Conan said something before the girl nod and walk to her friends. Kaito who's actually in disguised too, followed Conan who's riding roller coaster alone. He sit beside Conan and it seem like Conan doesn't realize he is KID. But when the roller coaster get inside the tunnel, Conan shifted closer to him and hold his biceps. Kaito is startled but he calm Conan down.

   Nothing happened during the roller coaster. Kaito noticed that Conan is stalking Shinichi and Ran. Kaito come to a conclusion that Conan like Ran and he wants to ruin the date, so he shed his disguised and change to a new one. He quickly followed Conan who's still with Ran, but suddenly Shinichi is running towards somewhere and that is when Conan hold onto Shinichi's hand. Kaito keep thinking if Conan actually like his own brother. He then try to listen to their conversation through a bug he put when he sit beside Conan.

"Don't go there." - Kenichi
"Why I can't miss?" - Shinichi
"If you treasure your life, just don't." - Kenichi
"It is better not to snoop around and lost your life. Don't you have someone that you want to confess to? Leaving her behind when you're on a date, isn't that not a good thing? Heed my advice and go to your lover, Kudo Shinichi." - Kenichi

   Kaito who's a bit startled by how well Conan's acting stand where he is. Shinichi then seem to heed Conan's advise, Kaito then realize that the person Shinichi is following is someone from the BO. "Kudo Ken'ichi, who are you?" he thinks. But then suddenly, a few people from FBI come and arrested those people. A silver hair man and his companion is arrested. Kaito suddenly realized, how much he didn't know the person he is in love with. How much he is being left alone. He then walk toward where Conan is standing and hug him.

   "If I said I am in love with you, would you tell me who you are? Ne, Kenichi, you're clearly the one wiser than Shinichi, but then, you're so different. You act and looks entirely different. You act like you doesn't exist." Kaito said while hugging the male. "I am zero, a person that shouldn't exist. I tell you KID. Me too, I am in love with you Kaitou KID, no, Kuroba Kaito." when Conan said his name, Kaito couldn't said he isn't shock but his pokerface is strong. "I am in love with my childhood friend and he too. Is there another world. I'm gladly choose this one again." Kaito said smiling at Conan.

   "I wanted to create a world, where you could smile and be a magician and have no one to hurt you." Conan said. They continued their day with the disguised, since it is save. But after that day, Kudo Ken'ichi suddenly vanish, it seem like he doesn't exist because everyone seem to not know where he went. Kaito couldn't help but try to look for Conan.

   Another full moon, suddenly a blue sapphire glow red. "I am PANDORA, welcome Kuroba Kaito-kun, I am the stone of magic. Tell me your wish." the stone said half-heartedly. "I want to be able to understand him, the one that hold my heart, you keep calling out to me. Please tell me what it is that I am forgetting?" KID said. That night, the same fateful encountered happened. But that night, PANDORA doesn't respond to his wish the same way Conan is. "Two soul, clean and naive, trying to clean the world. I shall grant your wish, and thus I can rest in peace." suddenly PANDORA turn into dust.

   That night, the memories of a pint-size detective and a white phantom running and chasing greet Kuroba Kaito. His last breath, protecting the one he love. Everything come to light. He then opened his eyes, tear shedding like rain. Wishing that he knew where to look for his love. In his last life, PANDORA didn't come to him, but this time he found PANDORA earlier. On April the first, on top of Haido City Hotel, Kuroba Kaito is waiting for someone. Suddenly someone opens the door, face shocked. "What are you doing here kid." not a question but a phrase that being rephrase by the same person.

   "Hanabira." that person answered before run and hug the taller male. "I'm sorry for not being with you, and thank you for doing everything alright." Kaito said smiling. That night, two heart become one.

   After a few months, the darkest and dangerous organizations in the world come to light. They person that help FBI, PSB to take down the organization is Kaitou KID and Edogawa Conan. Their name and identity remain unknown.

Not until someone get the intel and introduced Kenichi as Edogawa Conan's successor and thus making him the Edogawa Conan. Kaito Kuroba as the right hand of Edogawa Conan.
