Each member soon wrapped their heads around the fact that no less than three weeks ago, they had been working a case which happened to involve Cascade's father, and now he was their unsub trying to contact his FBI Agent of a daughter through murdering innocent men. It all seemed as though it had been concocted within the deepest depths of hell, and Cascade was shook.

She couldn't believe her father could do such evil, even after she had experienced it all firsthand. Deep down, Cascade had never blamed her father, only herself. Deep down, there was always a living part of her which forgave him for all vicious acts he had performed. Deep down, her love remained untouched, a love she would forever hold as long as she should live, a love that only survived for a father. And in reality, truthfully speaking, she had a father who loved her. Once when the time was simple, her heart belonged to him, and he used that to his advantage.

Two separate government official black SUV's departed from the local station, racing against time in order to save the most recent victim. Cascade sat in the back, Aaron beside her while Derek and Rossi drove. Aaron sensed her disbelief and discomfort, and he craved her smile, knowing it was his lucky charm before a considerably dangerous situation. His head rested on her thigh, gently squeezing here and there. Cascade was thankful for his actions, as they seemed to have a substantial impact on her worry, although his presence alone was more than enough.

The SUV suddenly arrived, as it appeared Derek had stopped the car absentmindedly, applying all pressure to the break while forgetting about the lives located within. Derek and Rossi rushed out first, leaving the two alone. Carefully, Aaron squeezed one last time and smiled lovingly at Cascade. "We'll be alright, love, it's like every other mission."

Her shoulders momentarily dropped and the calmness of the world rushed over her body, welcoming each part with relaxation. "I know, I just never thought I would be back in this situation, with him, it's scary, I'm scared Aaron," She admitted sadly, "Really fucking scared."

"There's no reason to be, we will all be by your side, no matter what, okay? We'll surround you with 7 separate guns ready to shoot, you will be okay Cas," He smiled warmly, at her as he exited the vehicle.

She sighed softly, in utter frustration, "Something is going to go so wrong."

"Hey Dad, how's life been?" Cascade asked as she withdrew her gun from its holster and aimed at his face. An agitated smirk warmed her lips attempting to hide her true discomfort and gut-wrenching sentiment that something would happen to go terribly wrong.

"Oh dear daughter, what a pleasure, I wasn't expecting to see you today," A wicked grin consumed his face, only causing Cascade to melt under the unnerving feeling of a dreadful outcome. Continuously, Cascade brushed the thoughts of as a mistake of sorts, as though everything was fine when it clearly wasn't.

Cascade snickered at his words, the tone of evil and harshness lingering in his voice clearly, sending chills over her skin covering every inch. "Well, the feeling certainly isn't mutual."

"What feeling would that be? Love? Cherish? Adoration?" He laughed wickedly, "Oh honey how naive are you? Those feeling aren't present my side either," He cocked the gun he held in his hand and raised it to the head of Jane Heart, his most recent victim. She screamed out pleas, sobbing fearfully, calling out her husbands name repeatedly.

"Why kill? Haven't you hurt enough people, father?"

"Oh, not nearly as much as I wish I did. You dear," He moved the gun toward Cascade, "Were my first victim. The first time I truly wanted to kill, but I couldn't, I would have been the prime suspect, and that wasn't good for my reputation."

"Your reputation was what the most important thing, of course, it never could have been me, or my thoughts. Everything else had a significance for you, didn't it? Except me, I was worthless and weak and a disappointment to you, and you taught the only way you knew how, by beating me until I could barely breathe," She trembled at the memory. She lay cold, and distraught on the cold stone floor of the basement, where he acted on his impulses, where they were both away from prying eyes, and located in a room where screams could not be heard.

Cascade witnessed Aaron flinch at the thought of her in pain, and for a split second all unnerving feelings and uncomfortable thoughts disappeared, leaving Cascade with her heart which held so much love for Hotchner, and the inconsistent heartbeat pumping in her ears.

"You deserved every second of it," Paul laughed as he dropped his head into the creak of Jane's neck, sniffing the hair that fell. Creep.

"You don't have to do this, we can all walk out of here alive, you can do time, and we can go home to our families," Cascade tried to negotiate, but she knew he wouldn't accept whatever deal she offered. He wasn't planning on leaving alone.

"As much as I appreciate your concern and attempt to save me, I don't care if I live or not, because you aren't."

The sound of three separate gunshots encompassed the room, and three separate bullets flew through the atmosphere, heading for their target.
