"In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years."
-Abraham Lincoln
"Cascade Moreau," The young woman spoke hesitantly, her sleep-deprived voice echoing in the four walls of her sleeping quarters. "Ali, if you tell me we have a case at 3:34 am I will make sure you have a broken nose by 5. Is that clear?""Good morning sunshine. We have a case," Cascade could hear a slight chuckle from the other line, in which she politely sighed at, before making her way to her closet. Her dearly, beloved closet. Her best friend. The only man she would ever need. Her sweet, sweet home. "Oh, you're on speaker, with the BAU."
"Oh, yes, great, my morning just got better. Actually, Ali, screw morning, NIGHT, my night just got better. I'll be visually seen in at least-" she was on half saying until Ali cut her off.
Ali had been her rock since joining the Joint Terrorism Task Force. She was beautiful, inside and out. Truly a work of art. Her demeanour was so welcoming when Casj joined the team that, honestly, her worries evaporated the minute she set foot inside their building.
She has the most piercing blue eyes. Ones that would stare into your soul until you forget your own name. And honestly, not only was she beautiful, she was the kindest soul to have ever lived. It was a surprise she and Cas got along.
"30 minutes," Allison spoke.
"Well I would've said 15, but thanks for the extra time I guess," Cascade smirked through the phone.
"Mamas you would look beautiful if you turned up in a trash can." The sweet, silky voice of Derek Morgan spoke.
"Oh, Morgan, how I have missed your voice. Speak again," she begged.
"It's good to hear your voice, Cadey, it's been a while," Derek spoke, he was the only one she would miss seeing every day. Don't mistake her, she would miss them all, but her and Morgan were especially close.
Cascade scoffed, "Blame your boss for that."
"I did what I had to do," Hotch expressed defensively.
"Whatever helps you sleep at night, Hotch." Moreau groaned as she transformed her closet inside out.
"You can have a reunion later, Moreau, get your ass in here," Kaitlyn added, knowing all too well what she was doing.
Kaitlyn was more of a badass than Ali. More bitchy. She was mostly rude, and sarcastic, and super aggressive. She was like a cat, constantly pouncing at you, wanting a bite of you. Kaitlyn wasn't so welcome on Cas' first day. In full honesty, she was so hostile it even caused Cas to wonder if she has any previous problems with her. But, after some time, they soon realised each other to be much more alike than they had originally expected.
"Oh, I love it when you talk dirty to me," Cascade spoke seductively, with a smirk playing at her lips.
"I'll spank you if you arrive in the next 10 minutes." Kaitlyn grinned. The faces of the BAU, beside Derek, in complete shock.
"You naughty girl, I'll be there in 5." Cas spoke, winking at the last sentence, one the team could not see.
"Meet on the jet, Moreau, we're going to Seattle."
